Dr. John Kurtis Mueller, MD

My experience with Dr. Mueller has only been positive. He is knowledgeable, he's kind, and he makes himself available when you need the help. I have 20 years of experience with psychiatrists and he is the best. Do quote me on it.

This fraudulent provider ruined my life by prescribing toxic neuroleptic Rxs that shut down my frontal lobes, and did so without giving me Informed Consent of adverse drug side effects. His ineffective "treatments" did permanent damage to my thyroid, bladder, colon, and peripheral nerves (extremely painful). After escaping from his toxic practice, I've been recovering from his harmful "drug therapy" -- that did more harm than good. Avoid this "doctor" -- who belongs on a WANTED POSTER in an old Western town. I've been trying to recover from his "treatment" for the past 10 years. One word -- FRAUD. He cannot make an accurate diagnosis and only cares about lining his own deep pockets.

I like that he listens to your needs and wants and from there takes into consideration the best treatment within good reason. We bumped heads a lot. Really though, it was a blessing in disguise. I can't go back in time, but I would suggest giving him a try to hear what he has to say before complaining if you don't walk out with a death wish (overprescribed to insanity). I'm guessing he didn't spend a fortune on school to sell himself short and to just get by. See him if you want to weigh your options out. Nice office. Clean, comfy and classy. He's worth paying out of pocket to see. He's also an Apple guy from what I've observed. Not like the many conventional boring kind of Doctors I have seen. You pay for what you get. Thankyou Dr. Mueller. Cheers to excellent mental health. P.S. Put the work in too, it is our responsibilities as patients to make just as much of an effort, if not, more.

I'm designing a bumper sticker for distribution in Flagstaff. "John Kurt Muellar, alleviating suffering, one dollar at a time". Does not accept any insurance, expects full payment at time of service, and if you ask for an estimate for his services, the best answer you can expect from his office is "between $200 and $400 for a visit. Assesses new patient fee each year regardless of how many years he has been seeing the patient. His office refused to Rx a weeks worth of medication on an emergency request.

This man is not interested in obtaining an accurate diagnosis. That would be done by asking questions and by observing and spending time with his patients. Kurt Mueller is only interested in writing a prescription and getting you out of his office. His ties to big-pharma are well known. I saw him for what in retrospect could have been a minor issue. However I took his advice and his prescriptions and almost died. As a grown man I take responsibility for what happened but I will say Kurt Mueller has no business practicing medicine. There are certainly some good therapists out there but do some research and you will do much better than this. He does not care about the health of his patients, only about lining his pockets with pharmaceutical dollars and cutting appointments short so he make more of them. This man is a Quack.

Wealth of knowledge by the practitioner, but very limiting in insurances that are accepted (and no longer exist as new plans). Employers do not return calls for help with info. This takes away from positive care and makes changes to debilitatingly conditions miserable and difficult.
