Dr. Joseph Francis Davies, MD

Been with Dr. Davies for over 30 yrs. However after a problem arose post TKR, I am left with a crippled leg, no solution and a physician who left me high and dry. This doctor is there for you unless there is a problem. If there is a problem and he's bored with it or feeling lazy, he suddenly doesn't know you. SO for all my trouble, post 4 months out from TKR, I'm left crippled with no doctor or solution. He never even discussed that this could happen. Did everything required for rehab but still cannot walk without severe pain. I look forward to spending my remaining years crippled. Thanks Dr. Davies.

My very first appointment with Dr Joseph F Davies was Life Changing. He validated me as a person and gave me hope were none had been given before. He has a soft, kind and compassionate spirit. This truly IS "His Calling" !!! He is very down to earth and has a most enchanting sense of humor. I feel so blessed and fortunate to have crossed paths with this amazing individual and professional on my journey thru life. Dr. Davies is an excellent doctor. He did a Right hip replacement and everything he said was true. The surgery was not painful and I am doing sooo much better. I would have never waited sooo long had I found him sooner. His bedside manner is awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Davies has been our family's orthopedic doctor for over 10 years. My sister, parents and I have all have had surgeries performed by him. Personally, I have had to have 3 hip replacements and a knee replacement. Dr. Davies and his staff are always professional and have spent enough time with me so that I could make informed decisions. He is confident and caring physician.

Couldn't be happier with the process throughout and most importantly, the results. My experience with Dr. Davies and his staff, as well as Aurora Grafton was everything I had hoped. Clear concise direction, prep, follow up and responsiveness have been outstanding.

He is very good technically but he is very condescending. if you can stomach his personality you will be ok

I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Davies. I am an out-of-state patient that was referred to Dr. Davies as someone who may be able to repair my IT Band. Dr. Davies has kept me from becoming debilitated.

Dr. Davies is a consummate professional. I had my right knee replaced by him in the summer of 2015, and the surgery was a complete success. It took only two weeks or so until I could walk independently, and the replacement procedure enabled me to work through physical therapy at a greatly accelerated rate. My knee has been pain-free ever since, and I'm able to do MUCH more physically than I could before the surgery. I can walk several miles, ride both exercise and regular bikes, and even play some basketball. In short, I can recommend him unconditionally. shoot hoops
