Dr. Judd Boczko, MD

Dr. Boczko was very attentive and showed much compassion to my condition. He interpreted the laboratory results to me in great detail. He demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and recommending Surgery in removal of Kidney Stone. I was provided follow-up care immediately after surgery. I must also praise his Staff for demonstrating affection and patience towards me due to my hearing problem. He gave me medication for pain and explained to me the effects of all the medicines given to me.

Though this doctor seems to have every award under the sun hanging up in his office, he does not have the best people skills. He did not go in to detail when I asked him about the various aspects of the "V" surgery for guys. All I wanted to do was ask a few questions and after looking at the potential surgical sight, he wanted to just schedule an appointment and rush me out the door. It wouldn't matter what his qualifications are, he doesn't have the bedside manner needed in a doctor that is going to cut inside of your reproductive parts. Chose not to have this doctor perform the surgery.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Boczko if you're looking for a good urologist. He has poor bedside manner and does not take the time to explain things or listen to questions.

Met dr Boczko 7 years ago for a diagnosis of bladder cancer with which he cleared me of with 9 weeks of BCG treatments then I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2015 he set e up with tribeca radiation for the five day regiment treatments just went for my yearly cistascope all clean dr Boczko is the best!

Shows lack of compassion or pain while treating patients. Full of himself poor communication

Even though there is a long wait and he can seem uninterested if you ask questions and show interest then he will spend time thoroughly explaining all you would like to know. He showed me my ct scans and described in great detail what he was seeing, and why he was not currently concerned. Left his office feeling very comfortable with him, diagnosis and what follow up should be.

Dr Boczko completely misdiagnosed what was a textbook description of IC which delayed proper treatment for months. I was told "if sex is uncomfortable then just don't do it" which is NOT the way to treat a manageable disease. He frightened me with his diagnosis of "it will be something you just have to live with" and told me I had overactive bladder syndrome which I DON'T. Did not explain treatments for IC or even overactive bladder or therapies. He just gave me a list of food to avoid and some Uribell and sent me on my way which included continuing my mild IC which then progressed into moderate IC due to not proper treatment.

Dr. Boczko misdiagnosed my condition. Had I not sought the help of another urologist I might never have solved my problem.

My experience with Judd Boczko is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. When I presented my condition to him, he did not perform an examination, barely listened to what I had to say, laughed at me at one point during our conversation, and then continued to insist that my only option was taking certain medications. Each encounter with this man left me feeling angry and more anxious about my condition. It was not until I saw another doctor that I realized exactly how irresponsible Judd Boczko is as a doctor. I am not sure what motivates him, but he was really pushing for me to begin a medication that I would have to take for the rest of my life. His decision to put me on this medication was hasty, uninformed, and ultimately wrong.
