Dr. Julianne Sarah Orlowski, DO

Dr. Orlowski is very thorough. She is aggressive, which is a trait I like in a doctor. She has coordinated with some of my other doctors and has been a great advocate for me.

Dr Orlowski is professional, compassionate, through, and very dedicated to finding the best course of treatment for each patient. I had been going to another RA doctor for years and switched to Dr Orlowski several years ago. It was the best choice I’ve ever made??

Dr. Orlowski always listens to my concerns, and take the time to explain my treatment plan with me. She has also adjusted my medications to make sure that I am comfortable and getting the most effective treatment and benefit for my condition. She is professional, personable, and friendly; and I look forward to my appointments with her!

As I read through some of the reviews for Dr. Orlowski, I am absolutely in disbelief. I have been a patient of Dr. Orlowski for many years and I have found her to be nothing but kind, courteous, compassionate and helpful. If you talk with other patients you will hear the same words being used. She is loved by many. Sometimes I have been hesitant to take a certain medication but she always explained why it was the best option. I have never felt pushed into taking a certain medication. The decision was mine and in every case, she was right. Yes, I too am taking Prednisone and I have found it to be extremely helpful. Dr. Orlowski is up to date on the newest research in her field and she does not prescribe a medication unless she feels it is the best option for the individual patient. I am very appreciative of her advice. As far as having a loud voice, I much prefer that to a physician I can hardly hear. I never need to ask Dr. Orlowski to repeat anything because I can… clearly understand her the first time she says something. Besides, when is a doctor judged on her voice? I am more concerned over the way I am being treated. As far as the waiting room, I have been in there many times when the room was crowded and sometimes when I was the only patient. The difference is noticed when there is one doctor at the office that day rather than multiple doctors seeing patients on the same day. If only one doctor is seeing patients at that location, the patients before you are being weighed, having their blood pressure taken and waiting in a separate room to see the doctor. While you are waiting in the outer room, Dr. Orlowski is seeing patients that have already been taken back. Sometimes it may seem like a long time before you see the doctor, but Dr. Orlowski will spend as much time as you need with her when the time comes. Sometimes when visiting a doctor's office, most people have already consulted the internet or friends and we believe we know exactly what is wrong. By watching drug commercials on TV, we think we know exactly what medication will help us the most. If you go into an appointment with an open mind, you will find Dr Orlowski will listen to you, give you an honest and educated opinion of what is the best option for you as well as the pros and cons of taking that drug. It may be different from what your friend or neighbor takes but it is what Dr Orlowski feels in the best medicine for you. One thing I know from experience is that she will NEVER push a certain drug on you. She will tell you why she thinks it is your best option and it is your decision to try it or not. Give it a chance and if it doesn't seem right for you and causes side effects (which most medications do), she will work with you. I am not criticizing the bad reviews but I am hoping to clear up some issues addressed in the complaints. When we are hurting and things don't seem to be going the way we want, we get upset and need to post a comment to tell everyone about our experience. My advice is to go back and talk to Dr. Orlowski because I know she would want to clear up any misunderstandings. She does care about her patients and she has many patients that think the world of her. The problem is we are happy with Dr. Orlowski and knowing so many people feel the same about her, we don't think about writing reviews. Maybe we should. When I read some of the review I was heartbroken because I know how much she cares about all her patients. Dr. Orlowski has helped me so much - not only in treating my disease but with the highs and lows that come with living with a chronic disease. I honesty don't know what I would have done without Doctor Orlowski's compassion, concern and knowledge. I am in a much better place than I was years ago and I will always be grateful for having her as my doctor. For any new patient, I would highly recommend Dr. Orlowski. How can you judge a doctor or anyone for that matter in one visit. Would you want to be judged in a few minutes? Get to know Dr. Orlowski and her dedication to you, to me and to all her patients. I assure you, you will find one of the hardest working, compassionate, caring doctors you will ever meet.

I have never had a bad appointment with Dr O before. I been going to her for years. She definitely cares about me as her patient and works to gets answers when no other doctor will. She’s a Gods send to me and my family

I tried to overlook the negative reviews listed and focus on the more positive ones when I found out this was the facility I had been referred to. I'm not going to go into much detail because the negative reviews that have been posted already say it all. I'm sorry to say that I couldn't agree more with each of them. I will say this: I've never felt such an uncaring nature from any Dr. in my 65 years than I experienced here with her.

This practice is a joke. They will only let you see one Dr and Dr orlowski was a terrible Dr, she was unhelpful and rude and condescending and they refuse to let me see Dr lidman now. What a bunch a crap.

I was first put off by the fact that she talks so loudly I could hear every word she said to the two patients she saw before me as if I were in the room, I take medical privacy very seriously. When she did see me, it was like talking to a wall, she was not interested in ANYTHING I had to say. It seemed like her speech was "scripted" and my input (being the patient) didn't matter in the slightest. By far the WORST "doctor" I've ever been to. These other reviews MUST be written by her staff, friends & family because they do not match the uncaring Dr. I visited. The waiting room was DEAD which leads me to believe what I wrote about the reviews above is true & If she was as great as these other reviews claim, I highly doubt I'd be the only one sitting in her waiting room at 10am. There were two patients before me but even when my "appointment" was over there was no one waiting when I left the building. I had to wait FOREVER to be seen, atleast an hour past my appointment time!!! … PS: the only thing I asked NOT to be put on, and I was open to EVERYTHING else, was Predisone....oddly enough, she INSISTED it be what I receive even after I told her how uncomfortable I was with it. Additionally, I researched as well as spoke with my PCP as well as my new arthritis Dr. about her advice, and neither of them were happy with her game plan...this validated my opinion of my experience with her. In MY 100% honest opinion, it was the worst medical experience I've ever had with a physician. ONE visit & NEVER AGAIN!

Very uncaring, cold, personality - no warmth or caring nature comes from her whatsoever. Spends more time talking about herself and complaining about her employees that asking you or listening to you explain your reason for visit. In summary, I hope and pray she gets better care in her time of need than she shows to her CUSTOMERS, I use that term because I never, at anytime felt like a patient. The entire visit she talks into a hand held recorder and types on computer, it was as if I was not even in the room.

Dr. O is a most caring and personable physician. She takes time to know her patients and cares for them as if they were family. I recommend her highly and without reserve.
