Received LTKR: surgery doctors are like fishermen. They put bait on the hook, you bite, they reel you in and then the only use they really have for you benefits them. This is how I feel concerning my LTKR. I didn’t learn of the consequences until after the surgery. My surgery was 6 months ago I am still suffering not only with knee pain, but that was to be expected after doing my research. Before this I took the word of the doctor, who stated “I’ve had patients that they were up and going after 2 weeks of the surgery”. Never once was it said however it could take some people longer to recover. In addition I am now suffering with foot pain outer part, heel, last 3 toes and ball of foot. Very uncomfortable when walking, it feels like thorns and rocks when I walk. I have seen a podiatrist and neurologist referred by orthopedic doctor. After 4 months of this issue. Per podiatrist my problem sounded more like a back issue. I did receive an epidural before surgery. I also have lumbar… stenosis. at this point I don’t want to be stuck by any more needles. This has been an awful experience for me. And the surgeon really don’t care of my condition, never once was there any empathy or any concern or follow up. I understand he may be busy, but even after my TKR he never went out to the waiting room to talk to my daughter after surgery to let her know how the surgery went. After a nurse called him to tell him that my daughter was waiting for him to speak with her concerning me. Hmmm he had already left. So he called her. •_• Long story short do your research before committing to TKR. They do not educate you of the real issues that could happen to you. Knowing that this may take a year or more to recover, I would have made a different choice. Very unhappy patient.

Very disappointed in the quality of his work, his PA (Dumb), his office staff in general. POOR communication !!! Second rate surgeon. Arrogant!! Doesn't have the time of day to give you. $$$$$ is all he is interested. Would not send my worst enemy to him !!!

He goes the extra mile for his patients. Even tho he’s a surgeon, he’s willing to try non-surgical approaches to see if you can get the problem fixed non/surgically! And he takes the time to talk you thru it all. This one cares about his individual patient.

He was wonderful, would go back to him for any other surgery

Core Institute SUCKS!!! After Dr.Woodruff resigned or whatever, Core Institute has cause me severe mentality and emotionally stress! Patient Advocate, Jason was very disrespectful as of laughing at me while I expressed my complaints what Core Institute have cause me since Dr. Woodruff resigned. Core Institute primary goal is MILKING THE SYSTEM. For Jason...do you wear a WHITE SHEET w/ 3 holes at night? I think you do being how you disrespected me.

Dr. Woodruff repaired my broken femur. He did a great job, and I would recommend him to others.

Dr. Woodruff performed a full hip replacement surgery on me and he did a great job. I am very pleased and feeling great.

We met Dr. Woodruff yesterday for the first time. He explained everything in detail and was very helpful. I would recommend him to anyone.
