I love Dr. Baerman! She always takes her time to listen and answer my concerns.

Dr. Baerman was nice. But the issue I went in for, wasn't addressed as I thought it would be. So I'm still unsure about my options.

I’m a super complex patient that Johns Hopkins, Duke , UNC, awakened couldn’t figure out but she did she listens to her patients. Very friendly amazing bedside manner and truly talented surgeon. She and her PA will always hold a special place in my heart.

Literally met Dr Baerman 20 mins prior to doing a surgical procedure. She was very quick to action to prevent situation from becoming worse. Explained things in layman's terms, very compassionate and very patient and super friendly. Had to have 2nd procedure 3 weeks later. Her staff same caring spirit as hers. She made me feel like she cared about the amount of pain I was in and wasted no time in getting things scheduled.

she immediately knew my diagnosis and explained her recommendation for treatment. Great bedside manner, made me feel very comfortable.

I originally saw Dr. Baerman about 10 months ago due to a condition that was incorrectly diagnosed for many years. Her correct diagnosis and treatment provided immediate and long-lasting relief. After 10 months, I needed another steroid injection in a nerve pack which she immediately provided. Both Dr. Baerman and I were delighted with the length of time her original treatment had lasted, and I expect this most recent injection will last for a similar duration.

She makes sure you understand everything going on. You actually feel like a person and not a number when she's talking to you.

I recently had a hernia repair at NC Specialties Hospital and Dr. Baerman was my surgeon. I couldn't have asked for a more caring physician or facility. She has an awesome bedside manner and made me feel at ease. Surgery went well and I've had no post-op complications following the directions given to me by Dr. Baerman and the kind staff of NCSH. I met Dr, Baerman almost two years ago and I still remember her to this day. I was very nervous to have to go through surgery (especially the type of surgery I had to go through) but, she was amazing! She carefully explained everything she was going to do and when complications arose (not due to anything she had done) she tackled them promptly and with the utmost care. She took what was a harrowing experience and made it bearable and she even found ways to make me laugh through it. Her attention to detail, expertise, her kind and caring bed side manner made all the difference in my life. I highly recommend her as a surgeon! She is truly the best!
