Dr. Kimberly Lue Wagner, MD

I had my first appointment with Dr. Wagner and I pray this review keeps others of you from experiencing what I did. She was very rushed, did not take any time to get a thorough history, was very demeaning and short with her answers and questions. As someone experiencing pain and concerning and sometimes debilitating symptoms I felt very unheard and just like a number to process through her exam room as quickly as possible. She was very eager to prescribe me medication for my pain without ever even knowing why I was having the pain in the first place. I went to her because of her MS knowledge, but I had learned more in doing my own research than any answers she gave me to my questions. We drove 2.5 hours to see her and spent $470 for 10 min with her!!! Total waste of time and money!

Horrible bedside manner. As other reviewers have said "rushed" I'll say that doesn't even come close to how little time Dr. Wagner invests into working with patients. Doesn't bother to ask, "how are you feeling" even with a NEW patient!? One would assume a neurologist would be patient when they ask a person to demonstrate a motor skill or respond to questions THEY ask a patient Nope. Dr. Wagner is far too busy for that courtesy. Cuts people off when the speak, clearly doesn't care what the answer might have been, because she's not listening anyway. When you ask a patient, particularly an elderly patient to demonstrate a motor skill or speak and respond please have a little patience. If 30 second appointments even 16 months is what you need... look no further. However, if you want to work with a physician who will be your partner in care, look elsewhere. Legitimately worse than the DMV. At least they say "hello, how are you?". I hope you can find someone else if you need neurological… care!

I saw Dr. Wagner to get second opinion on a possible skeletal issue with my body. I was referred from oncology to rule out auto ammunition issues. I rarely write a dr review, but after months of searching for a kind caring dr., I can say full heartedly she is it. We are not convinced my specific issue is auto Ammune, but I have a dropped shoulder and terrible interscapula pain. This Dr. was kind enough to provide me with trigger point injections due to pain. She also spotted checked my imaging to see where things may have been missed. She is one of the best drs I have seen throughout this mess. If she was a pcp I would use her every time.

I took my wife to visit Dr. Wagner today. I was very impressed by her knowledge and kindness. She was very compassionate and listened to our problems. We are looking forward to a successful treatment plan. Thank you for seeing us.

Ignored and dismissive

I was in the hospital for a week and was told I needed to get a neurologist once discharged. I made an appt. with Dr. Wagner. Her attitude was very dismissive and seemed she didnt want to be bothered

My PCP sent me to Dr Wagner as he felt I was having symptoms of MS. The only positive thing about the appointment was that I got in right away. Dr Wagner came into the room never greeted me, looked in my file the whole time. Didn't come across that she cared I had been having symptoms on and off for several years. Never did any testing on me. told me I have way to many symptoms, dx me with neuropathy in my feet, put me on medications and sent me on my way. I was out of the office quicker than my PCP. Since that time, My PCP sent me to get an EMT, got dx with CIDP and CMT. And have been referred to the University hospital in Denver due to the severity of my nerve damage in all 4 of my extremities. (arms, hands, legs and feet.

Dr. Wagner takes the time to get to know her patients. Since I started going to her several years ago, I have seen a substantial reduction in seizures. I would recommend her to anyone searching for excellent neurological care in Colorado Springs.

I have had issues for almost 4 years.... I finally get into to see Dr. Wagner...... which was almost 2 months after referral... She walks in, doesn't look at me once, keeps her head down like shes reading, asking me questions and giving the uh huh response.... doesn't look at one thing on me.... tells me she doesn't think there is anything she can do for me and sends me on my way..... I was seen by Dr. Wagner in less than 7 minutes........ I go out and then have to wait in line to leave to get another appt... month and a half out.... very unperson-able, don't care attitude, they just push you through... will not go back to see her again. Horrible and still have zero answers

Dr. Wagner is compassionate and caring every time you see her. Provides different options for treatment. The staff is excellent and very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Wagner and staff to my family and friends.
