Dr. Larry Lee Likover, MD

I went to Dr. Likover several times over the course of about 2 years. The first was for a "frozen shoulder". He diagnosed it correctly and put me in physical therapy, which worked. But every time I saw him he would say something rude and/or inappropriate. This was during an election year and he made assumptions about who I was supporting and made disparaging remarks. Not cool. The next was for a partially torn rotator cuff. Among his remarks was telling me to stop worrying so much and accept that I'm just "old". Another time he said he was referring me to a "specialist", which turned out to be a pain clinic. I left there. When I told him I didn't really want to pursue pain drug therapy, he said, "How am I supposed to fix it if you won't follow my instructions?" After he left the room, I asked the nurse if he could come back for a second because I forgot a question. When he returned, he looked irritated and said "What now?" Just rude. They also won't let you ask about more… than one condition. You have to make a separate appt and pay the fees for each. They are horrible.

Don't bother.... he is not the best!

You cannot enter the office without a face mask. Yet two of the secretaries don't bother to wear one!! The doctor is alright.

This guy is a big self centered narsisstic jerk. All he cares about money and being a womanizer. He is gross. If you have a shoulder problem, stay away from this jerk. He botched my rotator cuff tear surgery. Now I need a Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery plus a Tendon repair in the bicep muscle which he overlooked. I may sue him for all the pain and suffering he has caused me and my family. He is nothing but a rude scoundrel along with is unprofessional rude staff. Stay away from this place.

Dr. Likover is rude, self centered and doesn’t care about his patients. I was injured on the job and sent to him for herniated discs, he told me to go home and take an aspirin. He also told me to get back to work. The next visit I had with him he yelled at my mom and I when I burst into tears because of the pain and threw my medical chart across his office. A few years later I had to go to court because of my former work place not helping me with my on the job injury. He was “interviewed” about it and said that my mom and I had serious mental issues and that I was faking everything. I am now at 10 years later and still dealing with pain from 8 herniated discs. Don’t go to him, especially if you were injured in the job!!

When she dropped it off and asked for a time frame as to when to expect it they told her “ the more you call and ask for it the longer we will hold on to it” So then she paid the 25 dollar fee to fill out, they forgot to fill out one form and they charged her again. About the dr? The other reviews are right I would take my kidney elsewhere.

You ruined my life.

stay away from this place. They double charge you and they argue with you because they made a mistake and put it on out credit. Now we are dealing with this and the staff there including the Dr. are the rudest people I have ever spoke to. We will never be back here. Karen and Gale are argumentative and all around hard to even speak too without interrupting you. I call in to get a better understanding and they are clueless and just guess my husband didnt pay when he clearly asked them if he owed anything and they bluntly said no, but then it shows up on the credit report ? I m not the first person to wrote about his staff. He is not a good person and is clueless about what goes on at his office. I hate writing reviews but this is just a warning to stay away from FRAUD and crappy people.

My husband is 3 days post op on total knee replacement. The care we have been given by Dr Likover is almost like he were a family member. All the way from the top (Dr L) to every person on his staff and in the OR and his nurses have been truly some of the most pleasant and knowledgable people I have ever encountered. Dr gave me his personal email and cell # -- This is a man that did 5 knee replacements and two torn ACL's the day of our surgery. He is BUSY!!! He constantly has a smile on his face and answers each question with heartfelt compassion and educated, yet warm informative responses. I am blown away by the level of care at every turn. If you go to anyone else - (I am not saying other Drs are bad) its your own fault that you didnt try Dr Likover! He is amazing!
