Dr. Lauren Pam Kaplan, MD

Dr Kaplan is excellent in her evaluations and eye care. I have been going to her for decades and she always takes great care of my vision. She is very professional and courteous and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

As always, Dr Kaplan is an excellent doctor, thorough, compassionate, caring, and explains everything to me. I have been with her for quite a while and cant say enough good things about her.

Dr. Kaplan is very thorough when interpretating test and results done during the appointment. She can explain every aspect of the visit in terms that you can understand. Her follow-ups are very informative and explain any changes from previous appointment to current appointment. The best there is.

Dr Kaplan has been my eye doctor for several years. She is from the Bronx in New York and, coming from Boston, I would take a doctor from the east coast over the west coast at any time due to superb medical training facilities back east. She is very thorough in an eye exam and explains things explicitly in a language you can understand. She has a very pleasant personality and is easy to communicate with in any area of eye care. Every time I have an appointment with her, even for just an eye pressure check, I look forward to seeing her, knowing that anything to be done with my eyes will be done on a precise level. Simply speaking, she is the best! Thank you Dr Kaplan for being there for me.

Assessment by Dr. Kaplan was thorough, precise, and diagnosed for timely resolution. Dr. Kaplan always has an excellent rapport with her patients. She clearly explains all aspects related to the visit.

Dr. Kaplan is a consummate Opthalmologist with a bedside manner that is both engaging and incredibly intelligent, while being thorough. She does not mind answering questions to her patients satisfaction and that's a quality I find very admirable. She's also a "straight shooter" and would never pull-the-wool over your eyes (forgive the attempt at cheesy ophthalmic humor). I'm more than impressed with Dr. Kaplan's talent and I'm betting you will be as well.

One of the best recommendations is my experiences with Dr. Kaplan over the past TWENTY FIVE YEARS. She is thorough, not rushing, informative and pleasant. She discusses what options maybe needed, either now or in the future. Her listening to questions and concerns, makes decisions making much easier. Likewise, her staff treats you as a person and is extremely helpful. I had an appointment today for a semiannual checkup AND made another appointment for next year. Further, another “proof” of my continuing trust in Dr Kaplan and staff.
