Dr. Lillian Chen, MD

Dr Chen is by far the best physician I’ve had the pleasure of seeing in my life. About 14 years ago I developed multiple chronic diseases. Any dr working sees a record like mine and rolls their eyes and passes us on. Dr Chen is a phenomenal dr with great knowledge, as we all know no dr knows everything,but Dr Chen is so amazing she’ll say I’m not sure on that let me check it out further, order a different test, speak to a college who specializes in that issue! Just that is enough to see her! On top of that her bedside manner is kind, yet firm, she’s not a pushover. If you can get in to see her don’t hesitate, drs like this are swept up into supervisory positions...very rare gem here!

I'm a patient that has Hashimotos. After giving the doctor a list of my symptoms several times, she proceeds to tell me that my condition is under control instead of understanding and listening to my symptoms. She's like many other doctors I have had and regurgitates western medicine practices instead of hearing her patients. I found another PCP that is knowledgeable with Hashi's and has had other patients with similar symptoms. I'm glad I found a PCP that knows what she is talking about. Much happier with my new PCP.

Dr. Chen was very personable, approachable, compassionate, works to build a trusting patient-doctor relationship, and is confident enough in her own practice to welcome inquiry and even polite disagreement. She really took the time to listen to my entire set of concerns. She initiated appropriate tests and is working towards seeking answers to my ongoing pain through scientifically valid and appropriate strategies. I feel very confident in collaborating with her. I didn't give her full starts in diagnosis or followup because we just haven't gotten their yet.
