Dr. Lisa Lee Guyot, MD

Dr. Guyot has got to be one of the most dishonest and least empathetic people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. Firstly on the day of my laminectomy every nurse, the anesthesiologist, and even Dr.Guyot warned me of the heartburn from having a tube in my throat...(more on that later) out of the two herniated discs i had Dr.guyot only worked on and removed the most recent injury, refusing to help with a problem that has caused back pain for literal years now... her reason, that if its still bugging me (the way it was for years) after she took the unrelated hunk from another disk she could just do another surgery later (for the $$$$$$).... Dr.guyot also let me know if I needed pain med refill don't hesitate to ask and on top of all of that she was going to prescribe physical therapy... being off work I didn't feel super bad so it took a whole 2 months for me to get through the pain meds and that was a mistake, since I only used them when I needed them and not 3 times a day clearly… I NEVER need them. I was also made to look like an idiot when the younger trainee she had come sit in on my follow up started mocking me for thinking that tube would cause heartburn as according to him that's just impossible... and lastly have asked for information on going to a physical therapist a good 4-5 times now and wouldnt you know it, she is always out of office and will get back with me the next day for sure.... but like everything else is a lie in the moment because I never get a call back or hear anything...

She did surgery on both my husband and I. We both were very happy with our results. We would highly recommend Dr. GUYOT.

Told me it was too risky to fix my spine. Didn't offer any therapy, medication, injections, nothing. Wouldn't help with disability either. Told me to get a new job and take yoga. Nothing against yoga but I think it's a little late for that.

Dr Guyot and her staff are excellent! Dr. Guyot did my spinal and cervical fusions. She has a great bedside manner and will make sure she does everything possible before suggesting surgery. She works with your primary doctor to get you feeling better! I wouldn’t go to anyone else!

I found this well-run office to be staffed with compassionate people who had my best interest in mind. When I first saw dr. Guyot several years ago for neck pain, I was reluctant to have surgery. She gave me several other options and I was able to avoid the knife for six years! When I did come back and surgery was necessary, she explained the surgery thoroughly, and her staff answered any questions I called with patiently and with compassion, and the procedure went well. The follow up care has been wonderful and I could not ask for a better experience. I had my surgery at Genesys and everyone there sang her praises! You know that you have the right surgeon when all of the hospital staff have their procedures done with the same doctor.

Dr. Guyot, in one efficient evaluation, painted an accurate picture of what was wrong with my back resulting in the nerve damage I incurred. Hours after back surgery, I was up and walking like I hadn't walked for 5+ years; no pain whatsoever. I would not hesitate to see her again – for anything, and highly recommend her and her expertise.

She was very personable and came highly recommended by a few former patients of her. I wasn't disappointed.

It is now 8 months after my surgery and I'm still essentially bedridden. I needed some help with disability papers and her office flatly refused, saying that dr guyot never has and never will deem any patient as disabled.

Very nice but didn't do a very good job with my surgery. Will be needing a second surgery from a different surgeon since she was not interested in fixing her mistake.

Very unprofessional doctor who only cares about scheduling her next surgery. If your not a candidate for surgery she doesn't want to be bothered with helping you find treatment or even answering your questions.
