He may be an excellent surgeon, but he has too much ego to work with actual patients. When my husband overheard the nurses saying that I needed blood, he asked them if they had told the doctor that. They said they wouldn't dare do that as then he "for sure" wouldn't give me any. He discharged me when I had an extremely low blood count, did not have the strength to walk. My husband had to request a walker for me. With that and my husbands assistance I actually got into our home! Could not have done it any other way. Trained nurses should not be hesitant to talk with the surgeon about a patient. Mine were on several occasions. He needs to deflate his ego!!!!!

In 2003 Dr. Rosado saved my wife's life when he was at Tucson Heart. She was the second person over 40 to live during surgery for a ASD repair the size of a quarter. He devised the operating technique that is now standard. So, when I needed a quad bypass I chose him. All medical professionals I know tell me that if they needed heart surgery Dr. Rosado would be the one they would ask to do it.

I found Doctor Rosado to be an excellent surgeon. He did a quintuple bypass on me about a year ago and for the most part everything went very well. I found him actually to be a little quiet, but nice when he was speaking to me. I had heard all the rumors about his bedside manner but to be honest I found him to be very good! I would recommend him to anyone contemplating heart surgery. You will be in good hands!

Dr. Rosado-Lopez was given the highest praise by all I talked to. He is a quiet man and not terribly reassuring but when I finished my research, I was convinced that he was the guy to put his hands in my chest. As far as I can tell, my recovery has been spectacular. He and his PA is also very helpful and spent plenty of time answering any questions I wanted answered.

This is a very quiet understated man with extremely outstanding surgical skill. Don't let the somewhat distant bedside manner fool you. This is the man you want on your case if you have a heart attack or need heart surgery. It's been a year since I had a six way by-pass performed by him with outstanding results. I am extremely grateful this man was my surgeon and would recommend him to my closest of friends. God bless him.
