Dr. Marina Michelle Moore, MD

Dr. Moore told me I was a carrier for two genetic disorders, and that they would have to test my partner to see if he carried the same disorders. If he was a carrier of the same disorders there might be a chance I do not want to continue my pregnancy. They took my partners blood that day, and I wanted two long anxious weeks to find out the results. When I called the doctors office they told me they sent out the wrong test and that my partner would have to go into the office to have more blood drawn to have the correct test sent out. This devastated me and stressed me out, I was crying for two whole days. Me and my partner went in to get his blood taken, told the doctor how upset we were. Only to hear a simple "sorry" and that it was very unlikely my partner was a carrier. I anxiously waited two more weeks to get the results, with no options to expedite the test or no options to make myself feel better, or any reassurance from the doctor. Two weeks past and I called for the results… only for the receptionist to tell me to call back on Monday, the results were not in. No explanation why it was taking longer than two weeks. I called back Monday morning, still no results. I finally lost my temper and expressed this was not fair. They called the lab and called me back to tell me the results were in but the Doctor has to go over them with me and since today (Monday) is her day off I would have to call back tomorrow (Tuesday) to get the results after the doctor reviews them. The office states they do not have the Doctors cell phone number and there is nothing they can do. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. And this has made my pregnancy truly a anxious nightmare. I do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Moore has the sweetest and most gentle disposition. She informed me of every step of the examination before she would start.

This is the best GYN doctor I've ever had and I've been around for while! (Smile) She kind, patient, beautiful, professional, clean and understanding. She even has a sense of humor. Her Nurse Practitioner, "Diana" is one of the best also. She needs her own practice in a beautiful state of the art office. She definitely outshines her surroundings. She's the best any woman could ever hope for in this field!
