Dr. Mark Phillip Lesher, MD

Everyone was quite professional. I felt like the reception was cool, but did get more personable during check-in. In the initial part of the exam with the machines, I would have liked to know what was being tested. The letters I was to identify looked like a foreign alphabet and, though I could see them, I had no idea what letters they were. All around, I would have liked more information. When I said I had no cataract problem on exam 18 months prior in a different office, it would have been good to get information on how quickly cataracts develop and the implications of quick development.

This was my first visit I had read previous reviews and had mixed feelings about how it would go. Surprisingly it went better than I had anticipated everything went accordingly my I did not have to wait everyone was very professional and pleasant. I found the doctor to be informative. He is not overly friendly but that's not his job. As far as what my eyesight will be that is yet to be determined.

Dr Lesher is an amazing physician. However, on my last visit it seemed like no one knew why I was there and I wasn't sure that they didn't think my appointment was for a different purpose then what I thought it was for. Could very well be my misunderstanding, but it was very frustrating to me. That being said, I highly recommend Dr Lesher himself, and would usually say I recommend Eye Associates.

He was very informative easy to talk to. That doesn't happen much anymore when it comes to doctors. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Lester does not listen to patient. He is arrogant and uncaring. My vision is worse now than it was before cataract surgery. I am very scared and discouraged about my vision.

Performed YAG laser surgery on both of my eyes. Visual acuity is now close to 29/20 in both eyes.

Dr. Lesher is my hero. He performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I can see 20/20

Dr. Lesher is dismissive, does not listen to patient concerns. Does not explain what post surgery experience will be. I would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Lescher was extremely patient and knowledgable. My experience in his office was plesant and enjoyable. The staff was very informative about the procedure and follow up visits were a breeze. I continue to make annual appts with Dr. Lescher, even tho I have moved from Albuquerque. He's worth the drive! I highly recommend him!

Dr Lesher is very thorough and makes the patient comfortable.The lack of organization of the office is a whole other thing and needs organizing. I got in to see the tech on time, but then had to wait 1hr 15 min for the Dr. Same thing happen previous visit. One lady was even allowed to "jump the queue" since she complained (she'd waited less than I--but she had to meet a girl friend for lunch and didn't want to be late !! :(
