Dr. Mary Elizabeth Crowther, MD

When I gave birth to my son, I was induced due to an unexplained fever. Years later I got my medical records and discover my labs were all over the place. Some of which plainly showed that I had a progressive disease. I was never informed about these lab results. They were never rechecked before I left the hospital or in their office on follow up and I was never instructed to see a specialist. I have incurred kidney damage due to this disease not being stopped soon enough. Had I been informed of the results or had they been at least followed up on to insure they had returned to normal before leaving the hospital, I may not be facing chronic kid eye disease now. This lack of communication and follow up is negligent in my opinion.

Dr. Crowther's approach to patient care is patient-centered. She is truly invested in you and the well-being of your unborn child. She takes the time to explain things to you, presenting options and answering any questions you may have. I recommend her to anyone seeking optimal care and compassion during a time when you are embarking on a life-changing journey in becoming a parent.

Dr. Crowther delivered my daughter via emergency c-section. It was a scary experience but I felt safe under her care the whole time. She kept me informed during the chaos and ran the OR like a boss. She has an excellent bedside manner and I would highly recommend her.

As other reviews said, Dr. Crowther's warmth and compassion, as well as her expertise from long years of practice, make her a superb OB/GYN. After being kept waiting over 40 minutes at one of my office visits, I told the nurse that I had to leave for another obligation. A few days later, I received a personal, hand-written note from Dr. Crowther apologizing for and explaining my long wait to see her. That's a first in my experience! She also observed an unusual abnormality in my genital/anal region and referred me to an oncologist, without delay. She had seen this before, even though it was a rare condition.

Although it took about a month before I could get an appointment with Dr. Crowther it was worth the wait. She fully explained my health issue, provided a no nonsense solution, and was a delight to talk to. She took her time with me to make sure all of my questions were answered.

Dr. Crowther is compassionate, caring, accessible and extremely knowledgeable. She always answers my questions and I feel understood and helped whenever I leave her office.

I waited six days after test to have a nurse call me. She told me it was abnormal and that Dr Crowther can't see me for another 17 days! When I said that was unacceptable and that I need to speak with Dr Crowther, the nurse said she would tell her. She still didn't call me. I have been her patient for eight years. I am very, very disappointed.

Dr. Crowther is not only an amazing doctor, but she is also a wonderful and compassionate human being!! I feel so lucky to have found her!

Dr. Crowther is amazing! She is so kind, caring and very gentle. I loved her care and professionalism.
