I am legally blind in my right eye thanks to his negligence, he had a doctor proceed with cataract surgery not long after I had a detached retina making my eye detach for a third time hence I lost my vision. Plus he would not give me ANY time off work when I had my major eye surgery. He denied my short term disability. I would NEVER go back to him. I would not send anyone I know to him.

Amazing physician! Easily one of the BEST! Energizer bunny mode is required to handle the incredible number of patients that trust him completely with their sight. He has performed emergency surgery twice in 15 years to restore my sight in each eye. Results were perfect both times. He refers to other experts whenever you need treatment he does not do efficiently! I now see him regularly. My wife is also a highly grateful patient. He met us at 6:30 one morning as "on call" to address a severe pain in one eye for her! He has developed a highly efficient methodology to employ his well trained staff to perform as much tedious preliminary work as possible, leaving him more time to do the actual diagnosis and treatment. All negative comments I have seen here appear to stem from patients who are more familiar with their previous physicians who spend more personal time with them covering tasks that he uses staff to perform.

Dr Syrquin is one busy bee, but he is thorough, compassionate, funny, and professional. His staff are marvelous.

Dr syrquin does a great job even though he sees a lot of patients. I went to another doctor before him and he was just letting me go blind. Dr syrquin used different thing to help my eyes and I still can see great.

You won't get more than 5 minutes with Dr. Syrquin. He doesn't answer your questions and makes light of any concerns you have. I would never refer anyone to him.

Dr. Syrquin's bedside manner is mediocre at best. He does not treat me like a valued patient and human being at all. I am moved from station to station like an assembly line. His office staff at the Irving location is much better than the one at his awful Oak Grove location. About half of my appointments are rescheduled for the doctor's convenience. But... I must say this, and it's IMPORTANT!!! My eyesight has improved SIGNIFICANTLY and DRAMATICALLY under his care!! He correctly diagnosed my situation and resolved my problem. I was almost blind when I first visited him, but I just typed this review without wearing my glasses. WOW!!

AMD diagnosis: I felt as if I were just a number, an object being moved along an assembly line. There has been no follow up, no information regarding the name of medication injected into my eye, just too cavalier. I would like to be cared for by someone who appears to care. Will not return.

I was refered to Dr. Syrquin as being a very Good Doctor And He May Be, But He is Money Hungry And Takes No Time With His Patients At All ..He Writes Fast, See His Paints Fast, Takes No Time Doing What He Needs To Do And At The End You Cant See As good AS You Did When You Went TO Him ...His Answer Was In Texas You Do Need But One Good Eye To Get Your Driver Lis...I Suggest You Do Not Go To This Doctor If You Want To See.
