Dr. Micah Martinez creates a supportive environment for his patients, valuing the importance of their unique experiences. Dr. Martinez encourages patients to take an active role in their treatment plans, believing in the significance of their contribution to the healing process. With experience in treating college-aged individuals and young adults during his time at Virginia Tech, Dr. Martinez honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the unique challenges faced by this demographic. He also has experience working with veterans at the Salem VA Medical Center, patients in the forensic system through Catawba State Hospital, and providing couples …and group therapy. Outside work, Dr. Martinez enjoys powerlifting and indulges in video games.
