Dr. Michael J Sorscher, MD

This provider has no bedside manner and spends very little time with you. Dr. Sorscher repaired my meniscus for me. I wasn't given any aftercare instructions, crutches or recommendation for physical therapy. He just didn't ensure success of his services. Four years later and I'm still in pain with very little relief from his procedure. I am going to a different ortho doctor and hopefully I'll have a better outcome. I was told I should have gone to Dr. Sandrock at Genesys-I should have listened.

Dr.Michael Sorscher was referred to me by my brother(a former satisfied patient) and doctor replaced my left hip. I was very satisfied and thrilled with my mobility after a short time. I believe I now need my right hip replaced and I would not go to anyone else.

I've had 2 procedures done by him, with no complications. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Sorscher and the whole staff at The Core Institute are a wonderful bunch of people. They are very professional and caring people made my experience with a knee replacement very stress free

Went there for a bakers cyst and since I didn't do anything for the pain he said that it must not bother me to take motrin and ice it nothing can be done my left calf is way larger than the right and he was very rude.

Worse Dr. I have ever came across in life. I give him - 100. No bedside manner at all, no caring about patients needs. I. Have had to get 4 THR and a total of 6 surgeries because of infections and I am not the only one that this has happened to under his care. I still am having problems as of 7/27/2016 and just don't care. I tell him my symptoms and he says he don't know what could be the problem. That to me is unexceptable. He don't run test. I have had to go to the er several times but when they contact him he tells them to send me home. Two weeks after my first surgery I went to the er and all they did was take out staples and put tape on it. I go home and within an hours my leg had burst open because I had staph infection. No test were ran at the hospital which is Genesys in Grand Blanc mi.then I had two more different infections one right after the other. I blame him and the hospital for my infections. I have been awake long enough in the operating room to see to many things that… were not followed to keep operating room sterile. Him and the hospital all around are bad news. I would NEVER recommend him or the hospital to anyone to go to.

After waiting for an hour and a half I found him to be rude, no bed side manner. He informed me "we do surgery here" as is the pain in my knee was not his problem. His partner who retired last year was my Dr. So that was the only reason I was there. Had I read his reviews first I would have never went there and will not go back! His staff were great and tried to talk me into setting up for injections in my knee with him every three month. I declined. Would never go back!

So far so good.

The Doctor uses X-rays to find his way to your joint when giving you a shot. (I must be radio-active now). I didn't have pain in the front of my hip when I first visited him, now it won't go away. I used to be able to do 600 sit ups now it hurts to do one. This makes experience me pessimistic about science in arthritis so I don't talk about it. I mean, he can't really do much for you that you can't get from a drug store.

THis guy doesn't understand distance runners. Therefore, he sucks. Simple as that. Do not go to see this guy if you're a runner.
