Dr. Mohit Bansal, MD

I was sent to see Mohit Bansal thru the WC for a hand injury and as soon as he stormed into the room(without even saying good morning), he said with such an injury I should not be out of work(btw, a previous Concentra Dr had placed me out of work due to the injury, which he claimed was incorrect). When I asked if he can at least do an ultrasound/MRI to determine if there's still damage(inflammation) to the hand, he said he does not have to do that, based on his experience and since he's the leading authority in my case now, I have to follow what he says. He also down played a private Dr I had seen thru my private insurance by saying "that guy is a PA-Physician's assistant" and dismissed the other Dr's evaluation, which was done thru an Ultrasound. I have never been to a Dr where without examining the patient he draws conclusions about the injury. This person is a fraud and should not be practicing medicine. Upon some research, it appears he has graduated from St George's University… which is not even a US institution(appears to be in Grenada???). Moreover, I was told by Concentra that he's a visiting Dr at some of their clinics; he also mentioned he works at the branch I've seen him only on Fridays. Avoid this character at all costs. He won't help you because he's cutting corners. It's like going to a mechanic, only to be told he'll take action on your car without diagnosing the issue.

I had a total knee replacement surgery on 1-23-2019 and it literally ruined my life. I am scheduled for revision surgery on 5-13-2020 by another surgeon. I regret ever meeting Dr. Bansal. He didn’t discuss alternative pain relief but insisted that only surgery would help me although he knew my knee pain was minimal. Why I ever agreed to have the surgery without further investigation is beyond me but I loved his personality and agreed to have the surgery. Big mistake. Do yourself a favor and find another surgeon who specializes in your particular region. Do not choose this surgeon IMO.

Dr. Bansal performed my shoulder labral repair surgery and did a wonderful job. It was arthroscopic and the scars are barely noticeable. I no longer experience the instability and pain that was limiting me before. Dr. Bansal has always encouraged my questions and made me feel as comfortable as possible, knowing I can reach him if needed. Great care for a worker’s compensation case.
