Dr Eklund was my primary care physician for several years while I lived in Miami. She was always attentative, caring, professional and and an excellent practitioner. She always showed good judgement in her practice, treatments and referrals. I only wish I had a primary care physician like her since I relocated.

I've seen Dr. Eklund now for over 7 years. I find her to be an excellent doctor, knowledgeable and caring. She takes time with me, explaining and looking at treatment options. I especially like that she does not jump to prescribe medications. If it's a cold, no matter how miserable I may feel, she will tell me to try home remedies and not quickly give me antibiotics. If some supplements, might help with digestive issues, she will recommend those. I truly appreciate her approach, together, we partner in keeping myself healthy.

I went back to see Dr. Eklund because I couldn't find a doctor to appropriately treat my high blood sugar and IBS. She was my former doctor, but stopped taking my insurance. So I tried finding a new doctor. I saw about 5 or 6 doctors and couldn't find one that seemed to care. I went to 4 endocrinologists, but my sugar remained high. I went to 3 doctors for the IBS and it wouldn't go away. A month after seeing Dr.Eklund, my IBS was gone. Three months later, my blood sugar went from the 200's to the low 100's. I pay out of pocket to see her and it's worth every dollar. She listens and is a great motivator.

My experience with Dr. Eklund has been excellent since day one. She fits the quality that I have been searching for many years.

I was looking for a new primary care doctor. Had to wait for the first appointment over a month. She didn't seem to listen and was pushing for a total vitamin analysis and selling vitamins. Had various tests and the results were communicated by phone messages from her staff with no information to which test they were referring. Poor follow up.
