Dr. Neil Mahesh Badlani, MD

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Badlani and Cheryl. I have had severe back pain for years and it was only getting worse. Dr. Badlani gave me options but was not pushy. They educated me and allowed me to choose a minimally invasive surgery. I am so glad I chose surgery, the pain is gone. You will meet Cheryl Schultz first. Cheryl is AWESOME! Cheryl quickly responds to questions and keeps everything scheduled and running smoothly. Cheryl will make you feel like you are the only patient, and that is extremely comforting when you are going to have back surgery. I am sure there are plenty of other doctors that do a great job. I have met a lot that do not. I would not recommend and other doctor for back pain than Dr. Balani and Cheryl.

I am very thankful for and beyond satisfied with Dr. Badlani, his expertise, and the success of my anterior discectomy and fusion. I received phenomenal care from him from the initial office visit, throughout surgery and during my healing period. Cheryl, the OPA teaming with Dr. Badlani, is absolutely amazing as well. She insured that my every need was met and obviously cares about her patients. She definitely goes above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Badlani and his team! And I have total confidence in recommending them!

When I heard my back pop during a powerlifting competition, it was the scariest thing ever!!! All types of thoughts went through my head...will I walk again; will I be able to lift again. Everything that I ever heard about Herniated Discs were scary. My initial visit with Dr. Badlani put me at ease. He explained everything clearly to me. Dr. Badlani and his staff was wonderful! I went into my surgery knowing that I had a super team taking care of me. Thank you!!

Dr. Badlani and his staff did a wonderful job of explaining and preparing me for ACDF surgery. The pain, tingling, etc. went away immediately, just as they said it would likely happen. Wonderful PA in Cheryl. Excellent care and follow up. Highly recommend!

Couldn't have asked for a better Doctor! Hearing that you need 2 disc replacements is a scary thing for someone 39 yrs old. I am very active and was very nervous that I wouldn't have my range of motion that I had. I was referred to Dr. Neil Badlani by a friend and I did go to a few other doctors as well for a second opinion. Dr. Neil Badlani won me over with his knowledge and I felt I was in good hands. I looked at the scans shown by all doctors and I have to say they were not all the same... meaning that Dr. Badlani's was very neat looking which others were not. So I finally decided to do the surgery and I couldn't be more happy that I did so! It's been 2 months now and within days of the surgery I could feel a huge difference. My neck didn't have the chronic pain that I didn't realize I had developed and I had MORE range than I had prior to the surgery. Also the pain in my arm is getting better each week and I have more range of motion. I highly recommend Dr. Badlani for any… cervical spine issues!

I went to Dr. Badlani because I could not take the pain anymore from my back down my right leg. A small incision, 1 1/2 hour out patient surgery and 4 days later I was walking with no pain. Highly recommend Dr. Badlani. His nurse was also great with the insurance and checking up after surgery. Joe Marino

Literally would not go to any other ortho surgeon. He's very warm and compassionate. That's hard to find these days. He's also extremely knowledgeable about cutting edge technology used for surgery. Can't leave Ms Cheryl out. She was so helpful and patient. I emailed her alot. In almost every review I have read she is his right hand. Dr. Badlani has been on tv a few times explaining his craft. He has also written books about different procedures.

Dr Badlani is very personable and easy to talk to. He answered all my questions about surgery both pre and post operation. He did a laminectomy on my L4/L5 for a herniated disk. Immediately when I woke up in recovery I could tell he had fixed my problem. His staff is so friendly and helpful. Cheryl, his assistant is very responsive and fun to visit with before appts. I have not had any recurrence of the pain since my surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Badlani and his team.

Dr. Badlani failed to obtain an MRI for my mother and had her in physical therapy for a significant amount of time. She expressed extreme pain and he was insensitive to the degree. When he finally ordered MRI she was covered in lesions and had Multiple Myleoma cancer. His failure to obtain imaging earlier put her in a state that her disease was so far progressed that she was losing renal function and use of her left side due to size of lesions left untreated (she presented with a golf ball sized lump on her chest and it was dismissed). After sending her to an orthopedic oncologist he never even bothered to check in on her well being. I would like him to know she passed away about two and a half years after FINALLY being diagnosed. VERY unfortunate experience with this physician. For the record this is the first negative review I have ever even written I am just still so infuriated by his lack of earlier imagining for a patient which SEVERE pain and the dismissive attitude of his… nursing staff to my father's numerous phone calls to let them know the state my mother was in they said many unprofessional things.
