You can find many doctors who will operate on your quickly; make snap decisions and who will gladly send you for expensive and perhaps risky procedures or tests. And good luck to you if that impresses you. Dr. Fieldstone is a highly trained doctor who has not forgotten how to carefully diagnose what is happening in a patient. He not only cares for his patients (a lost art in this money grubbing world), but he is a gifted diagnostician (yet another lost art). He uses all his training/experience and skills AND the most modern tests and procedures available as needed in a thoughtful and careful way for the patient's best benefit. I have learned the hard way that fast decisions, expensive-impressive tests, and quick surgeries alone are not the sure road to health. When it comes to our bodies and our health fast and newer are not always safe or best. I am so relieve to have finally found a gifted doctor who knows how to take the time to carefully consider all options,… accurately diagnose my condition, utilize the latest procedures and treat me in such a manner as to give me the very best chance of getting healthy. My best change at good health in the future is to work with this fine healer.

While dr. Fieldstone may have years of experience at urology, he seems to be a dinosaur in his field. I had a bad experience with him and would recommend you see someone who has been to school more recently. I switched to a different doctor and he explained my options on kidney stone removal and performed the surgery within 24 hours and I was home recovering within four hours of the surgery. Dr. Fieldstone said it would have to be done in "stages" and several surgeries or procedures. Terrible bedside manner!!! Very antiquated office also. Do yourself a favor and look for a new doctor.

this dr is great he is so busy it seams like he is crazy at first but he lasered out my stones 2 times and worked out great his staff was cool to it may take a bit in the waiting room but after you go there a few times you see its cause is a great dr doing a great job

Dr. Fieldstone saw me on a emergency basis and worked me in on a very busy day. He also fought with my insurance company and the hospital to get me admitted immediately for surgery. His staff are marvelous.
