Dr. Peter Moley, MD

There are physiatrists and then there are physiatrists! Dr Moley is an expert in his field. He is patient and caring. At HSS he has the most up-to-date facilities and technology at his disposal and he uses them to the fullest, explaining everything thoroughly and carefully and patiently, from diagnosis to treatments and prognosis. He is a teacher and has top young doctors and fellows in training and working with him. I have rarely felt as reassured and comfortable in a medical setting as I do under his care. - thanks Dr Moley!

Dr Moley diagnosed my daughter after months of other doctors misdiagnosing her and putting her on strong, unnecessary medications. He is kind, thorough and provides non surgical relief. He has also provided me with knee pain relief with PRP and Sinvisk injections. And, realized my elbow pain was coming from my neck and provided me with a $10 foam neck brace to wear at night that solved the problem in 2 weeks after a year of PT that was ineffective.

Distracted and not great at diagnosis. Wanted to share more about himself Had to wait a long time and while waiting got to hear him discussing his weekend plans before coming mg to see me. Struck me as not too smart. He relies on HSS to cover himself. He did not make me feel better

I think Dr. Moley is an excellent doctor. He understood the pain immediately and was able to explain the reason for it and how to resolve the issue. Tried prp treatment and fingers crossed that this works along with physical therapy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Moley to my friends. His staff was professional and very responsive as well.

Dr. Moley is the best and most experienced Physiatrist I have ever seen!!!! Although he does not accept insurance the out of pocket expense is worth the visit. You will be treated and feeling better after one or two visits. You can ask him any questions pertaining to your pains and body and he will always have an answer. I am a 25 year old student with extreme back pain and after one visit with Dr. Moley I have not experienced any pain. (its been about three months). Since my first visit with Dr. Moley, I have referred my father and grandmother to him for evaluation.

Great doctor, takes his time to make sure his patients understand the problem and the solutions for it. I would say he is one of, if not the best doctor I have seen. He genuinely cares about his patients and makes an effort to have a relationship with them.

I saw Dr Moley after another doctor said I needed surgery. Dr Moley recommended a second MRI and said I could avoid surgery with a program of physical therapy which he supervised. Pain is now gone without the horrors of major surgery which would have taken at least six months for recovery including crutches for a month. He spends a lot of time answering questions and making suggestions. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Moley took his time and explained my treatment plan clearly. Great doctor, great staff.
