Dr. Walter and his staff are responsive, welcoming, efficient, empathetic, knowledgeable, effective, and highly professional. Dr. Walter responds to questions and patient needs very quickly and effectively. I value his medical care as a blessing to me and to our community. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Dr. Walter is a caring professional devoted to his patients. He responds to e-mail and phone inquiries usually within minutes, follows patients in hospital, and provides same-day appointments. Dr. Walter's staff could not be more courteous and efficient. I recommend him without qualification.

I have found Dr. Walter to be thorough -very knowledgeable and up to date on medications. Though his visits are limited to 15 minutes -- dictated by Sentara -- he always answers all my questions and follows up in a timely manner.Granted his bedside manner is not on par with some others but then I see him for medical advice and not chit chat.

Dr Walter is an excellent diagnostcian. He reviews lab results providing the patient with answers in 24 hours. In an emergency situation he is very hands on arriving at the hospital as quickly as possible and keeping in touch with the ER until he gets there.He is very well regarded in our community. We are lucky to have him.
