Dr. Rashid Zia, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Zia in any circumstances. I found him to be dismissive, and cold. The only treatment he offered me was heavy heavy sedation with multiple anti-psychotics, which I didn’t need. He ended up cutting me off of every medication at once, without tapering them off. His wait times are 1+ hour, and the appointments run short. Please do not go to this doctor for your own sake.

Over an hour late every appointment, talks to you for 5 minutes, & over prescribes meds.

I waited an hour for my appointment with him. On top of that the last time I saw him, he was very quick with me and tried to tell me I had a condition in less than 10 min of knowing me. I wouldn’t recommend seeing him.

Dr. Zia is great. I was diagnosed with ADHD and depression before seeing him and I was completely aware of him not treating for the ADHD. I just wanted to get my depression under control and he did just that! Besides, can't seem to find a doctor that will prescribe for ADHD in adults anyway. I'm just glad to be out of this stump!

Insurance problems left me with a balance so he refused to see my son or refill his medication which led to him being suspended. After the insurance paid they were all about him coming back. NO THANKS

Doctors like zia need to get their licence yanked.They only care about money.I went to see this quack in 09.I was in st.Anthony's hyland out patient program.I came in severely depressed from abusing Valium,a benzo.I quit the Valium for almost a month.I told him the Zoloft he had me on wasn't doing anything.I told him I smoked weed heavily and drank when he was getting to know me.I also told him I went Dr.shopping for the Valium.With him knowing my history of being a full blown addict ,he still prescribed me klonipins ,and stronger benzo that I was abusing .Thank u Dr.zia for helping me further ruin my life.I hope all your bmws are okay.

My daughter missed her appointment because of her grandmothers funeral. No visit no med refill. Billed as out of network and he is in my network! Changing Doctors.

Not a very good doctor. Mis-diagnosis led to very serious problems. Will never, ever recommend this Doctor. Hope he retires soon!

Staff at Dr. Zia's are horrible. Not just grumpy -- horrible. They cannot explain Insurance coverage, they tell you incorrect information and have charged the insurance more than needed. Glad I called my insurance carrier and they will be requesting their money back. Talking with his staff is like talking with a punk kid with an attitude problem. I believe the staff are trained to say the word 'um' every 2 sentences. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!
