My first, and hopefully last, appointment with this doctor. Doesn't listen (my after-visit report included several inaccuracies, including saying the complete opposite of what I told him in one instance). Likes to talk about himself and I had to ask if he would please focus on my issue.

Excellent MD. He performed partial meniscectomy for posterior horn/body meniscus tear on my knee. Both in consult and post op visit has had great bedside manner, answered my questions, always encouraged me to call if I had any problems or concerns.

Dr. Gurtler has been my ortho for 7 years. I have had both good and bad appointments with him. His bed side manners need some work but he has always made time for me if I had any questions or concerns.
