Went to see Dr. Malloy after a positive referral from a previous patient. I was experiencing excruciating pain in my knee. After reading the summary of our visit in MyChart I saw that Dr. Malloy was not totally honest. He mentioned if after 6-8 weeks I was still in pain I would need an MRI. I asked if I could have a catscan instead. He stated that it would not show anything. Then I said that it will take months for me to find an MRI that I could go into as I have an implant. He stated that I should be able to go into any MRI. I told him that I emphatically can only go into certain MRI's and if I needed one then I should start looking now as it can take months before I can find one and obtain an appointment. His answer was "that is putting the cart before the horse." We left it at that with no further follow up. However in the MyChart notes he stated that I "DECLINED an MRI" and that is just flagrantly not true!

Dr malloy is an excellent surgeon. But if you have a problem after surgery very hard to see. Took me 4 months to get in go see him.

Dr Molloy does not appear to care about patients. He has poor manner and seems to be working for self-interest rather than the interest of patients. He did not listen to my concerns and just brushed it off as something insignificant.

After putting off surgery for a year I finally made the leap to have a total hip replacement. Dr. Molly, his staff and everyone at Lutheran Hospital could not have been better! He gave me my life back - totally 100% better than before surgery! I would recommend him in heartbeat!
