Dr. Pivec and his staff are wonderful. My hip replacement with Dr. Pivec went very smooth, my recovery time was just a few days at home, and I was up walking around, without my walker, cooking dinner for my Grandkids, and sleeping through the night. It’s been about two and a half months since my surgery, and I feel great. The staff made everything easy for me, no matter when I called, or needed anything, from future appointments, to dealing with my short term disability, paperwork requested, calling them, faxing information many times, keeping me informed to what she had sent per request (especially Laura !) Laura your kindness, and quick response every time, made it feel stress free for me, because your commitment to your patients. I will always be thankful to Dr. Pivec, Laura and entire staff. Dr. Robert Pivec is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. He has great bedside manners. He is very patient, understanding, and empathetic. He listens to your concerns, reviews your x-rays with you, and identifies options to resolve your issues. He clearly states in plain English what he recommended to resolve my issue. In my case, it was determined that a total knee replacement was needed. He immediately scheduled it and performed the surgery. I am in PT right now and making great progress. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has knee issues. Also, his front office staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Dr. Pivec is exceptional. He is incredibly thorough, listens attentively to every concern, and explains everything clearly, making each step understandable and easing any anxieties. Dr Pivec took the time to answer my questions. (As a semi pro athlete, believe me I had many. I play field hockey on the US Masters team.) Surgery could have major implications on my ability to continue to run after surgery. He explained all my options, risks, and how we recover post surgery so I can continue to play field hockey as aggressively as I was prior to my knee pains. I would highly recommend Dr Pivec if you are considering hip or knee surgery.

I came in for another Cortizone shot on my right knee. Dr. Pivec, as always, was very cordial and asked me how things were going, gave me an examination, and we discussed the possibility of a total knee replacement. There was absolutely no pressure. I believe he always has my best interest in mind. He replaced my left knee and I have been doing great!
