Dr. Rodney Lee Myers, MD

He was the most rude doctor I have ever been to. Had no time to ask questions or spend time with me. I waited 4 months to get in, for him to try to rush me out. He is so rude and unprofessional!! Find a different doctor! He should be banned!!

Went to first appointment. Not there to make friends or be coddled. Want to get to bottom of problems with numbness & involuntary muscle movement. Had very little wait time. Nurse/Medical Asst was all business but very efficient, even called me before I made it home to say my email hadn't arrived yet. Dr. Myers was prompt. He's a little different & could be viewed as offensive (by one comment he made) but I didn't go in wearing my feelings on my sleeve. He tried to connect with me through small talk & stories, just being himself. I like a doctor who asks a lot of questions & gets straight to the point. He did ask a bunch of questions & had a scribe in the room w/us. I'm scheduled for a test with him next week. I'm overweight & he's not exactly slim. He didn't say anything about my weight but if he does he's doing his job. People do need a rapport with physicians. So far so good for me. We'll see what the future holds. I'm a 49yr old female & have seen many, many doctors with… parent who had cancer for 12yrs. Willing to give Dr. Myers a chance. Wish I knew more about accuracy of diagnoses & prognosis with other patients.

Dr Myers refused care of my disabled daughter, and would not give us any explanation as to why. We waited 2 weeks after a hard seizure to get in to see him - since he'd cared for her previously - only to find out that he has refused to see her and now we're left hurrying to find someone who will.

It's very true to not always believe what you read or hear. My situation was very odd and rare. It was embarrassing enough to have to explain to a man, but I knew I needed too. Dr. Myers patiences was excellent by listening to my concerns, he recommended tests and was very concerned in my well being as on how we need to treat my diagnosis. His staff was very nice and they all seem to be working hard considering how understaffed every hospital or doctors office can be. I also want to mention that prior to my visit, I did my research, checked his credentials, read every review and it almost placed fear in my decision, but we all are different and I believe that if you go in with a mindset of being negative, then you will have a negative outcome. I went in with treating all of them on how I wanted to be treated and I had a wonderful visit and I truly feel that Dr. Myers wants to take care of me as a patient. Don't allow the negative reviews scare you. I find him a great doctor that… knows his stuff. MDA, Sapulpa OK

He doesn't explain things very well. So he ends up getting irratated with you. He will tell you that you have to do every single thing he tells you to do. It's either his way or the highway! A little rude with bad bedside manners!

I have been to many doctors trying to find out whats going on wuth me, and dr myers is the best I have ever been to! Very intelligent and so sweet and caring. He has a sense of humor at the same time. Hes awesome

Your average doctor, maybe overworked. Doesn't excite me.

Long wait after my scheduled appt. time but it was well worth the wait. Great doctor and very helpful.

First off I waited months and months for my appointment. My appt time was 1030, I arrived at 10 to do paperwork. I didn't see the doctor until 1215!! The nurse was extremely rude to me when she took me to the room. The doctor came in and was extremely rude and caddy. I was there about headaches and the possibility of having MS which is why my PCP said she referred me to him. He pretty much told me I was fat and that maybe I should try eating less or starting weight watchers. Talked the whole time about his diet and this and that. Told me how weird my feet were and I should bike for exercise and not walk or run. Also told me how someone my size should probably have sleep apnea but my airway looked nice and which he said completely surprised him. I am plump yes I know but I am not, not fat. I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure or anything. My reasoning for going to this appt was not to be told I'm fat but to discuss neuro issues. He didn't listen to anything I said and I could… barely speak without him interrupting me or talking down to me. I walked out of that building in tears!!! I will never ever go back there and I will make sure everyone knows.

Was recommended to Dr. Myers and I thank the referring physician! Dr. Myers is extremely interested in getting the full scope of what I was feeling/what symptoms I had been experiencing. Not only was he thorough in his questioning but very interested to see what I have been experiencing. He took a great deal of notes and although we still have several tests to go through, he has researched my condition and I have every confidence that he will get to the cause. Is not afraid to confer with other physicians to come up with the best diagnosis. I feel VERY confident in Dr. Myers and have NEVER experienced the negative that others write about. I would recommend him to friends and family in a heart-beat! Thank you, Dr. Myers, for the level of sincere interest, the confidence that you give me and the knowledge that I am in great hands!
