"I saw Dr Sung for severe leg pain caused by spinal stenosis. Dr Sung was impatient and obviously in a hurry. He referred me to get an MRI and I declined a prescription for pain meds, and he commented as I left the room, “ How bad is it really”. I was speechless, as it was totally limiting my activities and life. I went to a specialist in Denver with wonderful results after that!"

I was initially hesitant to having back surgery. I tried a Spinal Cord Stimulator and it worked so well that I got a permanent implant. 5 years later, the battery was not functioning properly and the pain area had spread to my other leg, so I needed another surgery to change both the battery and the palette. The team contacted me, and conducted me through the various hurdles of visits, authorizations, and exams to finally get me to surgery in less than 6 months. All the personnel at the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group are professionals that really care about a patient’s health. My experiences have all been positive and have made me completely change my world views; back surgery is delicate and serious, but I recommend it compared to constant use of opioids and other chemical treatments such as ketamine infusions for the treatment of Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). I want to live not as an addict. Why live with pain or as an addict when you could try to relieve pain with the… push of a button. I am confident in the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, try it, and you will be too.

I highly recommend CSOG for any orthopedic issues. I have had several surgeries by several CSOG surgeons and all of my surgeries have had a positive outcome.I am currently seeing Dr Sung and his nurse practitioner Kelsey along with other staff members. The appointments are ALWAYS rushed and he doesn't sem to listen. Worries more about washing his hands of responsibility of any complications. The office staff are stellar! Kelsey, the PA, is amazing!! She is the only reason I would recommend Dr. Sung. Ashley, his MA is the best.

Dr.Sung was cordial and brief. Then I saw Phil PA He was rude. I hope and pray anyone has to see this pompous man. The MA was fantastic. We will see how my surgery goes.

Dr Sung performed a decimpression and fusion surgery for L2-5. After 6 weeks I am walking 10,000 steps daily and am able to resume all former activities without pain
