Dr. Ronald Paul Williams, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams since 2001/2002. I bounced around from dr to dr until I came to Dr. Williams, right away after my first scans with him he located my first tumor. Dr Williams has removed a total of 5 tumors out of my left hip and femur. He did everything he could not to have to replace my hip when I was only 16 years old and to this day I still have not received a hip replacement thanks to him. He has had to cut out a lot of bone but I am able to walk and run again without having to get the replacement. I still continue to follow up with Dr. Williams every year. I love his staff as well as him. Best Dr. I’ve ever had!!

If you have a pediatric patient that must see Dr. Williams at Dell Specialty clinic, please know that in 2019, you will be billed a $100 facility fee by Dell and then as a consult by Dr. Williams (deductible and coinsurance, instead of an office visit with copay). A 15-minute second opinion re: a 99+% likely benign bone tumor became $100 facility fee out of pocket to Dell + $288 paid by insurance to Dr. + $131 out of pocket to Dr. I called Dr. Williams office financial counselor in advance of the appointment at least twice (only have notes on two calls) -- this information was not shared, or we would have waited on the 2nd opinion or looked at other alternatives. The money won't matter if it's cancer, but for more benign situations, please be aware. He was competent to provide the 2nd opinion.

17 years ago in San Antonio at age 53 an MRI showed a large mass in a very painful shoulder. A biopsy revealed it was Osteosarcoma. Dr. Williams was frank regarding my prognosis with or without surgery and chemotherapy. The tumor was so large and had done so much damage that amputation of the shoulder was necessary. Usually, chemotherapy is done first to debulk or reduce the size of the tumor. He recommended the amputation first. The surgery was done at University Hospital which is filthy so I spent 30 days there before being well enough to start chemotherapy with another great physician, Oncologist Dr. Ronald Drengler. I can't say any of it was a picnic. Three years later I had a reoccurrence in the lung. This was removed by a chest man and chemo done once again. I am now 70 years old and still working. I recently had a CT scan done because of a neck issue. A mass is present once again in the area. If the biopsy reveals it is osteosarcoma once again I will not hesitate… to reach out to Dr. Williams for a colleague he recommends for the surgery. These two men stand out among all the others I have met in my lifetime. Hello Dr. Williams. I hope that life has been as good for you as the extra life you gave me. Gratefully, Milton Thornton

Amazing surgeon and great office staff.

I was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma and went to Dr. Williams. I then visited MD Anderson which was a nightmare. The oncologist had my old (and incorrect) record and asked why I was there since it was benign. I immediately left and went to Dr. Williams. I love him, his staff, and his demeanor. One week after going to another orthopedic surgeon because I knew something bad was wrong with my ankle and being told it was a bad sprain, I had my regular appointment with Dr. Williams who immediately ordered an MRI which showed a ruptured Achilles! He fixed it and I cannot say enough good things about him.

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST WORST HOMOSEPIAN IN HISTORY! HES A COLD HOMOSEPIAN! BUT HE PROBABLY LIKES THAT! HE TELLS EVERYONE THE SAME STORY, { IF YOU DONT DO WHAT I SAY, YOU WILL DIE IN 2 YEARS } HIS GONADS SHOULD BE IN A CELL, ALREADY! HES A DOCTOR? WOW! MORE LIKE A BAD HOMOSEPIAN! STAY CLEAR OF THIS SO CALLED DR REMEMBER IF 1 PERSON POST SOMETHING, THAT MEANS 1000 PEOPLE FEEL THE SAME WAY, THEY JUST DIDNT POST. ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. THIS GUY SKIPS AROUND FROM HOSPITAL TO HOSPITAL, DOING BAD DOING! GET A LIFE & STOP TORTURING OTHER LIVES!

Do NOT accept dr Williams diagnosis without going to major cancer center for second opinion . ..., I cannot stress this enough! I shudder to think if I accepted his diagnosis. Go to md Anderson!
