Dr. Sameer Hemant Nagda, MD

Dr. Nagda is amazing. He handled my sons torn shoulder labrum and was mindful of his baseball career and health alike. The surgery was scheduled promptly and he has been very supportive every step of the way. We had a small issue with the hospital (not Dr. Nagda) telling is to come in an hour earlier than necessary, but that was the only problem we’ve encountered. He continues to answer questions, be easily available, extremely friendly and caring, and he and his staff are welcoming every time we see them. He continues to go above and beyond for us now that we are moving out state. He has helped us to find the best Dr. to follow up with in our new state, and insured that we are set up with everything we need for the transition.

Dr. Nagda is a very talented and personable surgeon who repaired my shoulder (1 full tear, 3 partial tears) and put me at ease about the entire recovery process. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing rotator cuff surgery. He also has extensive knowledge of supporting providers in the area (physical therapy, pain management etc.) that make the recovery process smoother and more successful.

I have been delighted with the outcome, care, and follow-up that Dr. Nagda and his team have give me during and following my reverse shoulder operation a year ago. I have recommended him highly to my elderly friends here a my retirement home.

Dr. Nagda performed repairs on both of my shoulders and restored my ability to do almost everything that I could do before. I have not pain, no loss of movement and I am so thankful that I was lucky enough to be his patient.

I found Dr. Nagda's staff to be highly unprofessional, showing no concern or care before and during my visit. A friend of mine who work with Dr. Nagda in the past recommended him, so when I first made an appointment, I specifically asked to see Dr. Nagda. I was instead scheduled to see someone else they had just hired (who is not a doctor). I found it confusing that they would switch someone from seeing their preferred doctor to someone with a different degree (although I doubt they care about how customers feel based on the following experience). They finally switched me back to see him after a couple of phone calls and emails. Communicating with them did not feel easy. They requested that I show up early for some paperwork, and I did just that. I had been there at least 45 minutes when I politely inquired when I would be seen. The receptionist informed me that he might be able to see me an hour after my appointed time. There had been no communication on wait times before this… from her or any of his staff. I was told that I would have to call someone else on his staff about it, so I walked outside to call them. I told her that making me wait an hour or more with no communication on wait times was not acceptable. I called his staff directly, and Jamie answered. She informed me that he is "busy" and that is why the wait was long. At this point, an hour plus wait with zero communication form them is not professional or acceptable. She never apologized or said she was sorry that I had wasted my time sitting in the office. She was clear in her tone that she did not care about me as a patient and when I inquired if I should see Dr. Nagda she was clear that it did not matter to her if I saw him or not. She then informed me that my appointment had been cancelled and he could not see me that day. I assume they did this because I went outside to make a phone call so as to not disrupt other patients, and never consulted with me on if I wanted to cancel my appointment or not. This meant I wasted over two hours of time I could have been at work (travel + wait time). I will not be going back to see Dr. Nagda and will recommend others to save their time and go somewhere else.

Dr. Nagda replaced my right shoulder. This was the second surgery on this shoulder and came after a year + of pain. The initial appointment was quick and easy. Dr Nagda diagnosed my issue and laid out the course of action. Due to work issues, I was not able to immediately schedule my surgery. Dr. Nagda and his staff kept up with my pain meds and once I was ready, they scheduled the surgery and per-surgery appointments. The staff started my PT schedule and I was seen by Dr. Nagda for regular follow-ups. I am done with PT, and I am pain-free for the first time in years.

Dr. Nagda replaced my ACL and I've had a great recovery. Dr. Nagda and his team are a delight, they are prompt, they respond to questions, the appointments always run on time, and he's very thoughtful. My ACL surgery and post surgery experience has been exceptional.

Dr Nagda performed a total shoulder replacement on me. He explained everything, showed me videos of other older ladies who had the surgery. I was pain free within a month, and at 4 months have total range of motion. When I get the second shoulder replaced, I will ONLY use Dr Nagda. I am 72 years old

I've used Dr. Nagda twice now for arthroscopic surgery to repair a meniscus tear and both knees. His care is tremendous and recovery was speedy.

Dr. Nagda did a fantastic job repairing my badly broken arm. He had to put 10 pins in my bone to hold it together. He kept in touch with me and my Physical Therapist over a 5 month period. I will see him again in 8 months and again in another 12 months. He explained my procedure clearly and was always available if I needed additional information. I will recommend him to anyone I know that needs his kind of expertise. VERY, VERY Happy with his talents.
