Dr Shiley is a kind and compassionate listener. He is meticulous and gentle, completing my diagnostic endoscopic exam so gently that I didn’t need aesthetic and experienced no discomfort. My surgery was uneventful. I had a pain prescription but no pain. I mean zero pain! amazing after a 2+ hour delicate surgery. He prepared me with instructions for saline rinsing and nasal spray use after the surgery. My two follow-up appointments have been easy and comfortable and I feel GREAT! I have suffered with chronic sinus and ear infections since I was a child and have plentiful experience with ENT doctors. So you can believe me when I tell you this. He takes the time to listen to you, he cares, he did sinus surgery on me twice, he told me I was one of his top two most difficult patients, due to my issues. He was absolutely wonderful and I would not have anyone else! Then a couple years later he was my daughter's surgeon for thyroid cancer, again the best dr in town!!! He was absolutely wonderful!!! Can not think of even one negative thing to say.

I was referred to Dr. Shiley by a friend of mine who was pleased with the thyroidectomy Dr. Shiley did for her several years ago. I will readily admit that I am not a person whom is easy to please. I have very high expectations around customer service, yet Dr. Shiley has managed to earn my highest regard after several appointments and one surgery. He spends plenty of time in the office with his patients, explaining disease processes, his surgical approach (if applicable), answering questions, and following through on getting things done. Dr. Shiley's office staff is also superb, and they handle each phone call and appointment promptly and professionally. Perhaps most importantly, Dr. Shiley is a top-notch surgeon. You can trust him with your life!
