Dr Seble Zaude Gabre-Madhin

Dr Gabre-madhin told me that she seen a gallstone in my gallbladder. Within a couple days she took it out and never even shared her findings with me. I had to go to the hospital myself and look at it to see what she found and when I read the report it looked pencil whipped. She did not explain all the things she put in the report and there was NO gallstone found when it was removed. Get a second opinion. I am still struggling with the same pain in my side 4 years later with no explanation why.

I don’t know. I’ve checked this doctor on here (vitals) and on Healthgrades. Both have a picture of a woman and say her specialty is breast surgery. I’m so confused. I have a first time appointment with the doctor next week. I called my pcp just now because I am supposed to (according to my pcp) be going to a man for vascular vein disease. My pcp swears this is a woman specializing in vascular vein disease. I think a correction of some sort is in order here.....

I walked out of the initial appointment feeling that she really cared. She took her time explaining her diagnosis and the planned surgery. I had an excellent outcome and am very very happy with my whole experience.

I have had a lumpectomy and a mastectomy by her, and I could not have asked for a better surgeon! She is very intelligent, professional, but she is also a wonderful person. In my opinion she is the best!!!

I thought that she did an excellent job of explaining, and that she really cared about how I (AND my husband) actually FELT instead of just coldly telling us my diagnosis and treatment options. I had a great outcome from my surgery and am very happy with her care.
