Dr. Shane Michael Daley

The doctor deserves at least four stars but the office staff is lacking. You cannot reach the office. You get sent to a patient call center who promises a call within 24 hours but it NEVER comes. I had emergency kidney stone removal and have five more to go, bilaterally. They scheduled my second surgery incorrectly, as it must be done at a hospital because of other medical issues. The scheduler said she’d call back with a new date at the hospital. Not a word. No calls to my insurance to pre authorize my surgery. I have kidney damage that wasn’t there prior to this episode and am typing in a great deal of pain right now,. Eight visits to a hospital for the same issues is ridiculous. The hospital expects me to follow up with my doctor. How? The stones are up to 5mm in size. They won’t pass now. I am very disappointed . I have to move in a month….I need to get these out.

I saw Dr Daley at 8:30 on a Monday morning at Arizona Urology Specialists. We agreed I needed surgery right away, and he left the exam room to get it scheduled. Dr Daley returned and stated the Scheduler was busy but he gave me her business card with the instructions that if I didn't hear back from her later that day to call her number. By late afternoon I had not heard back from the Scheduler Sarai Arechiga so I called her number and got a message to leave my information but with the admonishment that "multiple calls will not expedite a return call." The next day still no return call so I again followed-up and got the same recording. Now on Wednesday still no return call so I called the Scheduler's number again and got the same recording to leave my info. I left my info and then worked my way thru the Arizona Urology Switchboard and eventually got a Patient Rep. I explained my situation and asked to speak or leave a message for Dr Daley but was told he only worked there on Mondays and… Thursdays and they had no contact number or voice mail for him. The patient Rep stated the Office Manager would call me back that day but I Never received a call back. On Thursday I finally received a call back from Scheduler Sarai Arechiga and I explained my issue with the lack of patient care and response to my medical needs to which she responded it was her fault and apologized. I asked if I could talk to my attending Doctor Shane Daley and she said at the end of our phone call she would go find him and have him return my call...I never got a call back. Subsequently I had no other good options other than to eat my $200 plus co-pay along with a wasted week of time and pain and go find a better Medical Practice. In all fairness I don't know if Dr Daley ever got any of my messages or concerns.

Dealing with somewhat large kidney stone. Suffered excruciating pain after two lithotripsys. Unresponsive to complaints, insensitive when removing stent. Caused severe emotional distress to my wife. Would never go to him again for anything.

Great surgeon and post op care.But further follow up for cancer was poor.

Prescription was never called in :( and I feel absolutely terrible

Doc saved my life, 8 cinameter cancerous mass inside right kidney, he removed it using robotic laparoscopic surgery.did a great job No problem s. I am a 38 year old healthy female previously diagnosed with a large cancerous tumor and I thank doctor Shane Daley for saving my life!

VERY POOR PREP FOR BIOPSY, NO FOLLOW UP WHAT SO EVER . WE HAVE YET TO GET THIS PHYSICIAN TO SEND THE PROSTATE BIOPSY RESULT TO PCP, AND/OR TO OUR "2ND OPINION" UROLOGIST. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS! WE ARE STILL TRYING.

After seeing several urologists who all refused to take care of me, I saw Dr Daley. He seemed too young at first but then I read about him and he trained under a famous kidney surgeon in L.A.He told me he could take the kidney stone out but that it would take more than one surgery. After two surgeries my kidney was fixed. He is honest and skilled. I'd recommend him to anyone.

A caring doctor. Excellant bedside manner. Thorough, well educated & trained. Waiting timne was from 20 min to 1 1/2 hrs. Have visited huis office at least 10 times. I woud still recommend him very highly.
