Dr. Shannon Armstrong Novosad, MD

Dr. Shannon Novosad is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine, pulmonology, and critical care medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Oregon Health & Science University. With two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Novosad brings extensive expertise to the comprehensive care of patients with complex respiratory and critical care needs.

Dr. Novosad practices at Emory Decatur Hospital in Decatur, Georgia, and also serves at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. Her clinical focus includes treating patients with allergic rhinitis and chronic bronchitis. She performs specialized diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function testing and bronchodilator reversibility testing to evaluate lung function.
