Dr. Shirish Bavajib Patel, MD

I saw Dr Patel with a very sore throat, glands and ears... waited and hour and 10 minutes after my appointment and them He told me to gargle with warm salt water and take tylenol for pain. 3 weeks later after calling several times to the office with no help from him, I went to urgent care to find out I had STREP THROAT for the entire time. The DR at urgent care said "how did your Dr miss that?!"Even a 2nd year Medical student could have told you after hearing your symptoms and looking down your throat. I have changed Dr.'s with my insurance and would not recommend Dr Patel to anyone I know.

Dr Patel has moved his office to 5220 Clark Ave, Suite 125 Lakewood California. I give Dr Patel 5 stars. He is a good Doctor and seems concerned about his patients but his nurse is rude. I made an appointment 2 months ago for a physical and blood work. She did not see it on her paperwork and starts talking down at me for not calling in because now she is too busy to do blood work and EKG. Its not my job to let her know that I need a physical. That should have been written down 2 months ago. This nurse is hot and cold. But mostly rude all the time. If you are a patient you know who she is.
