Poor service, was told by An orthopedist at my foot was shattered. And I need to be seen ASAP. My MRI was sent to Dr. Chang‘s office and I was given an appointment for the following Monday. When I got to the clinic I had no appointment and then they didn’t wanna do the x-ray. When I went to his office they refused to see me in the front clerk had the nerve to tell me that the doctor thinks that my foot might be healing and my foot is as big as an elephant foot. Very poor service I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone!

Dr. Chang is an excellent orthopedic surgeon and helps a lot of athletic people get back to their sport!

If you have an ankle injury, make sure you see Dr. Spencer Chang and NOT a podiatrist. Thank goodness I left the podiatrist in time!

My goal when I saw Dr. Chang was to get back to being able to hike and kickbox and Zumba after an injury sustained during a routine colonoscopy when they tore cartilage in my right knee while I was under anesthisia, a highly unusual thing to happen. No other doctor wanted to touch this potentially highly litigious situation. I did not want to sue. I just wanted to get back to my usual routine of exercise. After surgery and a lot of physical therapy, today, Dr. Chang told me he cannot do anything further to help me. I guess I have to learn to live with this constant pain.

Dr. Chang is a very good and caring doctor. Yes, he is busy (would you want a doctor that is not?), but he takes the time with you to explain your situation and options. He knows his stuff and he is a very nice person. I would recommend him highly. If your an athlete it is just another bonus to have him as your physician!

Although Dr. Chang is very pleasant in person, the appointments are quite short, and I sometimes left the office with several questions that were still unanswered. The couple times I left messages with questions for him, the calls were either not returned at all or were finally returned several days later.
