The best of the best! Incredibly attentive and compassionate doctor! I have been to him on 3 occasions over the last three years for low back injections and he does a superb job. Not only is he an excellent doctor , he is also a terrific and kind human being. 5 Stars is not enough....highly recommend both he and his office staff...The best !

Dr. Massimi is a prime example of why HSS maintains their reputation as one of the leading hospitals in the world. Before discovering him I spent a full year suffering from upper back pain. Initially an orthopedic surgeon at ONS Greenwich diagnosed me with having a fractured transverse process and subsequent bone marrow edema and had me rest for a while before a month of PT. He ultimately ran out of ideas and I was back to the drawing board until I met with Dr. Massimi. It was immediately evident that he truly empathized with my dilemma and I was impressed with his assistant's note taking and laser focus with respect to ALL the details of my symptoms. Ultimately due to Dr. Massimi’s attention to detail, caliber of knowledge and deep network of surgeons to consult with as well as the superior scanning technology at HSS it only took him 3 weeks to figure out a benign tumor was the culprit. He swiftly referred me to the right surgeon and now the nightmare is finally over!

This is a class-act doctor, with a top-notch staff around him. They appear to run a well-oiled practice. I waited about 20 min past appointment time for the doctor, which is very acceptable. Once he came in, he and his assistant were very kind, and he thoroughly examined me and then patiently and comprehensively explained what was going on. Thank you!

I cannot say enough positive things about both Dr Massimi's clinical and patient care skills. His outstanding professional practice and incredibly attentive and efficient support staff make it easy for patients to love him. He is patient, kind and inspires confidence in his abilities. He is accessible and available, patient and kind. He's my go to!! Note: wait time is due to administrative procedures of HSS. The staff are proficient, there is routine paperwork necessary to make sure information collected is complete and correct for patient safety.

Visited Dr. Massimi regarding lower back injury which was aggravated by child birth. He is clam, friendly, answered the questions and seems to have good knowledge in his field. He seems non-judgmental and minimally invasive. Recommend him highly.
