Dr. Steven C Tizio, MD

Dr. Tizio is an experienced, extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled surgeon. He is also a compassionate physician—takes all the time you need to explain things and answer your questions (before you even have the opportunity to ask!) He is friendly and has the ability to make you feel like you’ve known him for years. I can’t express the relief i feel having a surgeon who understood my concerns and took the time to address every one of them & help ease some of the anxiety before my surgery. Surgery was a success and his care, concern and kindness continues. I feel very secure having Dr. Tizio perform my 2nd surgery after the first went so well. I would recommend him to anyone. I am so grateful! Also, I have never waited long to be seen in his office, and never felt rushed during the visit. Kevin and Karen are also absolutely wonderful. They are patient, personable, kind and have been so helpful since day one. They have always welcomed me with a smile & both go out of their way to… make me feel completely taken care of. And that care extends to his team in the office and OR as well. Finding this practice has truly been a blessing. Thanks everyone.

Being a physician I know how busy work life gets and how important it is to be 100% “on my game “ as a doctor but sometimes we forget about the emotional needs a patient has. Not Dr Tizio. Not only is he a skilled surgeon but he is capable of giving me his time , his ear, his shoulder , and most of all his attention to help me feel better emotionally as well as physically . I can’t rave enough about this man. I refer and will continue referring all my patients to him!

What an amazing doctor.

Having to undergo bowel reconstruction I was very nervous. Dr. Tizio eased my fears and did a great job. Luckily it was done laproscopic. I would highly recommend this doctor . He is caring, knowledgeable, and very professional.
