Dr. Stewart Wayne Jennings, MD

As a registered nurse with 50+ years of experience, I was a patient with Dr. Jennings for over 5 years. I should have left him long ago, but I just kept delaying my decision to terminate him as my PCP. Now, finally, I have. I found him to be dismissive, arrogant, impatient, defensive and judgemental. He does not like when asked questions. He feels he is easily "broadsided" by questions. I cannot recommend him. If you are looking for a physician who is collaborative, respectful and not temperamental, he is not the physician for you.

As an RN with 55+ years of expereince, I selected Dr. Jennings as my PCP over 5 yrs ago. Since that time, I have had a number of exchanges that have been less than positive. I would rate his clinical skills as average, but his his interpersonal skills as very low. He responds quickly to messages, etc. However, these responses, as well as interactions as part of an office visit, can be abrupt, and, at times he can be difficult, argumentative and arogant. He easily becomes defensive when questioned and constantly reminded me that I asked too many questions. As a patient, and an experienced Rn, i do not feel that there is EVER a time when a patient can askk TOO many questions. He would remind me constatntly (verbally and in messages) about how much of his time I was taking. His office staff is excellent. I have gone elsewheren and I am sorry i waited so long to make the switch to a more professional PCP. If you are looking for a PCP whon will proactively collaborate and work with you, I… would avoid him at all costs.

Hes an arrogant physician who shouldn't be in a field requiring interaction with people. Dont waste your time find someone else

I waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, but he was thorough, friendly, great bed side manner, competent, communicated well. It was worth the sorry wait to see him. I felt comfortable with his assessment and plan. He verbalized the findings in a manner I would understand. Overall, I was satisfied and would recommend him to others.
