He ruined my foot. Operated on my foot over ten years ago. All I had was a hammer toe and neuroma. He is a good salesman and sells you but don’t fall for it. He cut my toe bone in the wrong place and even admitted to me that he wondered which spot to cut the bone and chose wrong. I had it on recording but when I switched phones the recording was lost. My toe is permanently bent and unable to wear heals. The neuroma he “fixed” was botched and I have a stump neuroma and he caused nerve damage. Pain doctors think he cut the wrong thing. They said he gave me crps/rsd. My foot was constantly burning and constantly red hot. I had to have tons of nerve blocks in my leg. The burning started immediately after my surgery, and when I brought it up to him several times he didn’t seem to care. I’ve been told that I need a second surgery on my foot, but most surgeons don’t wanna touch it because they’re scared about the RSD/CRPS that has finally calm down. They don’t want to re-waken it. I am still… in pain on that foot and as a woman not being able to wear heels or not being able to wear most shoes is very hard. I can’t even wear a flat loafer because of the way that toe is bent the bending part of the toe ends up, hitting the top of the shoe, or the bottom, part of the toe ends up, sticking down so much that I get pain in the metatarsal, and don’t get me started on the stump neuroma! The waiting time in his office is atrocious

This Dr.Katchis by his employees told me the Dr dont know anything that goes on here.In 2 days my surgery was approved.But it was 11 weeks I called ,WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SURGERY ? It's now 11 weeks.I was told let me check, OH SORRY MR CRUZ this was approved 11 weeks ago.I had already called 4 times & was told wasnt approved.Than 11 weeks later was told it was never put into the computer.It was filed away in the drawer.BUT IF I MADE 1 PHONE CALL THAT AFTERNOON I WOULD WALK IN AND GET A SCRIPT FOR for OXYCODONE.Dr Katchis will right them out, no questions asked. They don't take.there paperwork to schedule appts seriously..BUT OXYCODONE IS GIVEN OUT like candy on Halloween.All appts took 7 weeks or 11 weeks for an x-ray approval or any approval.While I'm in pain all I get are his employees a complaining blaming each other.Nobody follows through with the patients interest.BUT OXYCODONE IS GIVEN OUT LIKE CANDY ON A COUNTER. THIS I.D THE DR FOR YOU IF YOU LIKE DRUGS !!!! If he would of… fused the ankle when he said, I could have saved 1 year he toyed around. I finally had to leave to another Dr. He left me in so much pain I swore I was in Dr Stuart Katchis personal CONTRATION CAMP ! I couldn't walk, sleep. from the pain I was in. The whole time the Dr blamed the insurance Co for a procedure was approved 2 months earlier.A TRUE CLOWN FACTORY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They don’t come any better

I have bad feet and have been to lots of doctors for foot problems. Dr. Katchis is the best I have ever been to. I have total confidence in him.

He is an outstanding Dr. and has always helped me. He's pleasant, expert in his field and his office is a delight with which to deal.

Dr Katchis is wonderful! He takes his time and explains everything to you. You never leave his office feeling unsure about something.

I was very impressed with Dr. Katchis. He took the time to carefully explain my options, answered all questions thoroughly and was compassionate throughout my exam.

He's a great salesman as far as making you believe he knows his stuff. He did surgery on my foot over five years ago and I have permanent nerve damage and foot damage and need a second surgery for his mistake and no one wants to do it because it's a risk now that it will become worse. He admitted after he did my surgery he made a mistake. For months after my surgery I was telling him of pain and he should have sent me to a pain doctor so the damage wouldn't be permanent. He knew what he did and should have owned up to it.

Dr. Katchis diagnosed, after x-rays, a plantar plate tear. Prescribed month off exercise, tape on toe. Then run one quarter mile (felt somewhat better) before MRI. Prescribed surgery to insert plate with screws. No alternatives. Decided NO. 2wks later, back to running. No pain. Still running eight months later.

I was there for a triple fused ankle,I had 18 screws in my ankle,after that 24 screws.Every surgery would go back to being twisted left again.His entire crew of clowns had my paperwork stamped APPROVED ready for surgery.11 weeks those papers were in there file cabinet nobody called me ever.After I asked what happened to my paperwork for my surgery.I was asked WHO ARE YOU ? I was a patient 1 year.Each employee says sorry & blames the other.While the pain is so unbearable you wish you were dead.They all said the same Dr S.Katchis don't know anything that goes on here. Would you like to schedule your surgey now,AFTER 12 WEEKS,YES ! BUT IF YOU LIKE OXYCODONE HE GIVES OUT THOSE PILLS LIKE THERE CANDY ! In & out all the drugs you want. NO PROBLEM ! YET on 3 other occasions they lost my paperwork as well.2 other times I called 7 weeks passed I called they said sorry Mr Cruz we haven't sent that to the insurance Co yet. They pain in my leg felt as if they had me in there personal… concentration camp !!! They don't care for patients needs ! I had to go to another Dr to fix the 24 screw mess in my leg !! Employees all blame each other,they were right Dr S Katchis just walks around clueless,as I tell him the problem he blames the insurance Co after his employees spent the whole visit apologizing to me for there mistake ? It's a CLOWN FACTORY !
