Sumeet Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma was condescending and dismissive of our concerns. Multiple times told my wife to stop talking when she was talking about the kids (he didn't like when she would switch between the two which if that is the case and he cannot handle two patients at once then do not have them go together). He made reference to how even though the kids' exams looked fine today "they could have a heart attack tomorrow, next week, or get hit by a car" with the kids in the room. This was the most frustrating appointment we have ever had and it felt like we being treated like we were stupid for even brining our kids in to be seen.

We've been seeing Dr.Sharma for years and have always had a good experience with him!

I felt like the whole appointment with both my kids were rushed. And when we talked to the DR at the end to find out the results, I felt like I was talking to an auctioneer bc the DR talked way too fast for me to understand. It was as if he was rushing talking to us so he could go home early. Glad my kids don't have heart issues bc I would not feel comfortable coming back to a DR that rushed us and didn't talk things through normally.

The doctor's bedside manner was lacking. To be a pediatric doctor, he sure didn't understand that some pre-teen girls freeze when asked questions they don't fully understand. He was very dismissive when he said her responses meant it wasn't significant or she would be able to remember more details. My daughter cried on the way to the car.

He seemed very rushed and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. His bedside manner wasn't very well suited to kids. It was hard to understand him because he spoke so quietly.

Dr Sharma has been very rushed/hurried the last 2 times we've seen him. Yesterday he came I'm, told us everything looked good & said to come back in 2 mos. Very disappointed in that as this was our first appt since we went to Vanderbilt for a heart cath to correct a PDA.

Took time to talk to us and explain everything. Very personable.

Exceptionally warm and friendly with no hesitation to discuss details of our son's condition. Dr Sharma was thorough, direct and easy to talk with!

Very rude to my daughter. Didn't want to listen to what she had to say. Called her a liar

His bedside manner was abrupt and condescending to my teenager, and did not patiently listen.
