Dr. Rich's deep knowledge of the impacts of prenatal alcohol exposure has been invaluable to our impacted children. Her medication management expertise is second to none. She uses medication not as an ultimate solution but as a tool to give the FASD impacted brain space to calm, to heal, and to access other therapy and educational supports. Far too many clinicians, therapists, and physicians fail to understand the "big picture" of FASD---instead treating symptoms such as ADHD or behavioral issues singularly. In contrast, Dr. Rich's strength is in explaining and treating symptoms as different facets of the injury to the brain caused by fetal alcohol exposure. Her wholistic approach results in better long term outcomes.

Dr. Rich is probably the most passionate and caring psychiatrists I have ever met. She has dedicated her whole life to helping her patients and has certainly changed my life for the better in so many ways. She really gets to know her patients and genuinely cares about each one which is what I love about her. She also is an amazing advocate for her patients diagnosed with FASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders as well as those who are underserved. I would highly recommend Dr. Rich as she practices with so much compassion, knowledge, and dedication.

Dr. Rich is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is an amazing psychiatrist and has helped me find the right combination of medicine to help me feel good again. Dr. Rich is hands down the best psychiatrist for families struggling with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. She is the first and only doctor who truly understands our son and the challenges faced by our family. We have been working with her for 4 years and every word she has shared has proven to be true. Dr. Rich has been the key reason both of our girls have been able to get into appropriate, private special ed schools. She has also been able to get them on the right medications! Other psychiatrists (who don’t understand that Fasd looks like many other mental health disorders), diagnosed them with a mood disorder, adhd, depression, reactive attachment disorder and anxiety, etc.. based on incorrect diagnoses. We love Dr. Rich, and can only imagine how bad things would’ve gotten had we not met her four years ago.

Refreshing to have a doctor his is knowledgeable about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, effective in supporting individuals and families with FASDs, and passionate about spreading prevention awareness, and building support for individuals living with FASD.

Dr. Rich has been a true blessing in the control and monitoring of my daugher's ADHD diagnosis. She has helped us in finding the correct medications, assisted us in having a 504 plan implemented to maintain my daughter's academic performance, and offered advice with respect to programs and camps that would be of benefit to my daughter. She is a caring and compassionate doctor who is an expert on children with ADHD. She is truly the cream of the crop!
