Dr. Kvint chose to pursue neurosurgery because the nervous system is irreplaceable—it defines who we are and how we experience the world. Within neurosurgery, she chose to sub-specialize in endovascular treatments because they combine precision, innovation, and rapid advances in technology. This specialty allows her to work in a field that is both intellectually challenging and constantly evolving, while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.Having been born in a country with limited access to medical care and experiencing the loss of family members as a result, Dr. Kvint has long believed that medicine is a right, not a privilege.
