Dr. Sylvain Nakkab, MD

Dr Nakkab is super compassionate and very knowledgeable but he's also down to earth. Most importantly, he's ready to talk to and he truly listens. Not only that, but you can tell that he really cares about his patients. Bonus: He's very quick to return phone calls & I've never had to wait long after arriving. He's honestly the only psychiatrist that I would recommend for children.

Excellent physician and diagnostician. Easy to speak with and takes his time to listen to symptoms. My son has seen him for 11 years and Is very comfortable with him.

Dr. Nakkab has a great deal of knowledge of pediatric psychiatric conditions and treatments, and freely shares this knowledge with his patients. He speaks very kindly and never talks down to his patients. He does whatever it takes to ensure his patients receive good care wherever it's needed. He is thorough and never gives up, no matter how difficult the case is. However, for us, his diagnosis was incorrect and he was unwilling to change it, so we had to leave his practice, after working with him for 6 years. I would recommend him, but if you don't see improvement after a very long time, you may want to get a second opinion.
