Sylvia Klineova, MD

Looked at my MRI and spinal tap and said that she wasn’t sure I have MS (even though 2 neurologists before her – one in private practice and another in Columbia U. Dept. of Neurology had diagnosed me). Because I was showing mild symptoms - tingling in my hand and foot –said that I should wait for stronger symptoms before she can prescribe me medication. There is no MS cure. Your best bet is to slow it down with medication. Wait-and-see approach would cause you to lose years of your life. In that sense, Dr. Klineova’s approach poses danger to her patients.

She is extremely professional caring and knowledgeable

Knowledgeable and professional but not very personable. Doesn't always take time out to make sure I understand what results are or to ensure that a lab she refers me to takes my insurance. Sent me to my PCP for a "skin check" and my PCP had no idea what she was talking about

Love Dr. Klineova, but not her staff. Have been to the office twice and twice I have had major problems. Wish I could go see her somewhere else.

Dr. Klineova is awesome. She is the best doctor I have had in my 51 years. She is caring, compassionate, accessible to her patients. She is very understanding. Even during the time her late was husband was ill, she was always putting her patients first. To know her is to love her.

I just love Dr. Klineova. Her manner & caring about her patients is awesome.
