I was referred to Doctor Kontis for an Upper Blepharoplasty (eye lid lift). From the moment I met her, I was excited about the possibilities that she could offer me in improved clarity of vision and in appearance through this procedure Her friendly enthusiasm and professional manner put me immediately at ease. Everyone in her office with whom I came in contact demonstrated the same friendly, supportive demeanor and put any concerns I might have had to rest. From the moment the surgery was completed, I could see much more sharply and my eyes were obviously wider. Recovery was minimal and after three weeks no one could tell I had had surgery. After six weeks, my appearance continues to improve as the last of any swelling dissipates. I am so grateful to Dr. Kontis! Not only was my procedure successful, she made it an enjoyable, exciting experience! I highly recommend Dr. Kontis without reservation.

Dr. Kontis is very skilled at facial plastic surgery. I wouldn't trust anyone but her to do such delicate work. Great followup at no additional costs. She's makes certain it is done right.

Kontis is the best

Dr. Theda Kontis is an amazing facial and plastic surgeon. She performed a full blepharostomy on me a few weeks ago including fat transfer to my under eyes. I am 6 days out and can see the beautiful work that she performed. She is supremely skilled and competent in her work. She is precise and artful at the same time. I wouldn't let any other doctor touch my face after meeting her. Her staff and surgical team were terrific including my anesthesiologist and surgical nurse and her surgical center was state-of-the-art and impeccably clean. She rocks!

I was given an appointment for the next week and found the office staff to be so friendly - they even appeared happy to be at work! Dr. Kontis was extremely professional, compassionate and gentle. I was so impressed with her ability to accurately diagnosis my eye condition, surgically repair it under a local anesthetic, and care for me post-operatively. She took as much time as I needed to answer my questions initially and to assure me a comfortable and safe operation. Another important factor is that she is promptly available by phone or appointment if a question or concern arises post-operatively once you arrive home. I would recommend Dr. Kontis very highly as a patient and registered nurse.

The results were amazing, the experience was excellent. The orchestration of the office personnel prior to surgery was very good. Dr. Kontis was very patient, professional and compassionate handling my high anxiety about the procedure as well as her staff. The procedure was easy, comfortable and painless. My results look natural despite dramatically improving my appearance. In addition to the results, the process was positive.
