Dr. Thomas M. Brosnan joined Brosnan Eye Associates, PA in 2005. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Upon completion of his residency in 2001, Dr. Brosnan returned to North Carolina and joined the faculty at Duke University as an assistant clinical professor. While at Duke he served as the lead clinical instructor and service chief for the ophthalmology residency program at the Durham Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Brosnan is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the Buncombe County Medical Society. He is an active staff member at Mission Hospitals. Dr. Brosnan lives in Asheville with his wife and two children. He enjoys …mountain biking, cooking and golf.
