Dr. Thomas Francis Kelly, MD

I've been a patient of dr kelly for ten years.He has treated me for glaucoma. He did both my eyes for cataracts. Y ou can not find a better more professional doctor then him in this city.He is always takes his time and explains every procedure in a knowledgeable way.I would never consider any other eye doctor in this city.

Dr. thomas Kelly did cataract surgeries on my daughters eyes and was very caring along with his expertise in diabetic conditions of the eyes. Extremely pleased with his dedication & and his cheerful office staff.

Wife saw Kelly. He did cataract surgery, two months ago. She can't see any better. Ended up in hospital-with infection-that he let go undiagnosed for two months and told us "everything is normal." She had severe eye pain which went on for two months. Finally, we had to go to ER. When admitted to Hospital-the nurse on the floor, asked who did the surgery-we said "Kelly." She rolled her eyes and said "Oh him." That's all she said-but we got the drift. Evidently-his reputation is not as good as these other reviewers are stating. My wife may lose her sight. Under care of retina specialist. We hope for the best.

Dr. Kelly treated me a year ago, full exam, thorough explanation of results and follow-on instructions. Spent the time necessary for me to know what was going on and what it was related with. Today he saw my wife 10-10-19. Problem developed suddenly and the Staff worked to make a slot for her to see the Doctor. The first slot wasn't available, they called back and helped me find a second for today. Absolutely great people and care.

I actually had my cataract surgery in Los Angeles, then ran into a problem in Las Vegas. I was referred to Dr. Kelly for help. He actually explained everything FAR BETTER than the premiere Los Angeles surgeon that did the work, and was excellent with resolving my problems and follow up care. Husband is going to be needing this sooner rather than later and Dr. Kelly is the only place to go.

Surgery performed. Complications developed. Was handled wrong. Would NEVER RECOMMEND Kelly

Misdiagnosed completely

After being referred by another doctor close by, I wondered in to see about getting an appointment for a later date. The staff bent over backwards to get me worked in that afternoon (they were booked solid). Dr. Thomas Kelly was personable and thorough - I was impressed with the entire operation. Thank you!

My husband had cataract surgery by Dr. Kelly on one eye and it went O.K., so I went for a checkup and was told cataract surgery would really help me see clearer. One eye at a time. I had one eye done and right after, I began to see wiggly lines etc, when I went to see him, he quickly sent me to a retinal specialist. it seems I had a dry macular degeneration that was not detected by Dr. kelly, and pretty much lost my central vision at that time. I have now been under the care of a retinal specialist; shots in my eye monthly, probably the rest of my life as I now have the wet macular in the operated eye and the dry type in the unoperated eye. I was told my cataracts were very mild by another doc and will not be having the second cataract surgery done by anybody. Seems Dr. Kelly missed that I had macular degeneration altogether, or I never would have had the first eye done. He made it seem that my cataracts were bad, and now the other eye is the eye I can read from, as the… surgical eye is pretty much useless and feel he really ruined my eyesight that was not that bad. So u can add that to the list of very dissatisfied patients.
